Check in at a different location (2 min walk) but it was very easy. The hotel was very nice, clean and quiet. We booked two rooms, one for my wife and I, and the second for my two daughters. Both rooms were very roomy, we had plenty of space for our luggages. For breakfast we ordered eggs, and coffee was served promptly. Selections for breakfast was very good. I wanted to have a beer after checking in so they had set up a fridge with beer and water at the hotel. This is on an honour system, we were able to enjoy the beverage and pay the next morning. Very convenient - we thank them for this!

Oh. I loved the dreaminess of this place. Already rothenburg is just magical and to sleep in this gorgeous hotel by the outside walls was a dream come true. Right from the many roses outside to the lovely Otto the concierge who had the graceful attitude that you could only find if you travel back in time. Then there was my room. The bavarian suite if im not mistaken. I was moved. And speechless. The forest views. The bed with the "baldacchino" the impeccable bathroom. The delighful wall paper! The breakfast was also very good indeed.

An excellent hotel in a great location. Rooms were comfortable with everything you needed for a good stay and the bed and pillows were fantastic. The honour kitchen was great, well stocked and very comfortable. Staff were very friendly and helpful and the owner even offered to take a group photo at the end of our stay. Location was close to the old town without being in the hustle and bustle of the crowd which made it much easier accessing by car and free on-site parking was very much appreciated. We cannot rate this hotel highly enough, it was excellent!.

The chalet was absolutely wonderful! It was spotless, beautifully decorated, welcoming, and incredibly cozy and comfortable. My children were so thrilled with the place that they didn’t even want to leave the house! I truly hope to return and stay there again – it was an unforgettable experience!

This was a wonderful Hotel to stay in within the Rothenburg Aldstat. The staff was responsive to questions, extremely friendly, and kind. The location was perfect and well within walking distance to all the sights within the town walls. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and I was very happy I could open the windows! The minibar was included, as was the breakfast - the croissants were delicious, the sausages, eggs, smoothie, fruit bowl, smoked salmon and more, was much more than I had expected to be included.

We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Eisenhut on the 16th of February, as part of a short weekend trip to Germany, and it truly exceeded our expectations! From the moment we stepped through the front doors, we were captivated by the hotel’s historic charm, blending beautifully with the fairytale atmosphere of Rothenburg ob der Tauber. The staff were exceptionally welcoming and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Parking was available a short distance away from the hotel and our rooms were spacious, tastefully decorated, and offered stunning views of the town’s picturesque rooftops, with tidy balconies allowing you to sip a cup of tea in the frisk morning air as you watch chimneys smoke in the distance. The combination of antique furnishings and modern comforts made it a perfect retreat after a day of exploring. The location is unbeatable—right in the heart of Rothenburg, just steps away from the town’s iconic landmarks, charming streets, and fantastic restaurants. Though the hotel itself carries a rich history, it offers all the modern amenities one could need, ensuring a cozy and relaxing stay. Breakfast was another highlight, served in a beautiful dining area with a fantastic selection of fresh and delicious options. Every detail, from the presentation to the quality of the food, added to the overall experience. Hotel Eisenhut is the perfect place for anyone looking to immerse themselves in the magic of Rothenburg while enjoying top-notch hospitality. Ideal distance from the beautiful medieval city of Rothenburg that is too crowded especially on weekends. Very quiet place. Small family hotel with very clean, reconstructed rooms, some hundred meters away from the restaurant where you have to check in and where you can have excellent dinner from local products. The rich breakfast is directly in the building with the rooms. Parking places almost right under your windows.

Very impressed with the service, the hotel and the amazing breakfast made really with love. Easy to park and close to city center if you are travelling by car I highly recommend that. Everything was very clean with comfortable bed, excellent shower, spacious bedroom and toilet. Cute little village.

The guesthouse is located in a quiet area. The gps takes you to the restaurant, where you get the keys for the room. Then, you drive back 2 streets to the hotel. Our room was very nice. Modern and quiet, with a balcony.
