Lily’s Garden was a beautiful place to stay! After spending one night there, we immediately booked two more. The place was sparkling clean and very thoughtfully prepared. All the small details showed how much the owner truly cares about the property and the guests. It was also very sweet to have a little chat with the owner. The house is located in a peaceful area, just a 10–15 minute drive from many points of interest (parks, baths, castles). I highly encourage you to spend your weekend here!

Very polite,helpful and welcoming staff. It’s just a pity that reception opens at 13:30. I also wished that there would be water dispenser for guests to be able to fill up water bottles. Otherwise all was brilliant.

Huge beds! we were travelling with a baby and didn’t requested baby bed because we’re cosleeping but they prepared extra bed which was great to put next to a normal bed just for extra space for safety. I loved it! our bed turned out enormously big!

Wutha-Fanroda is a completely uninteresting place.

Wutha-Fanroda is a completely uninteresting place. You need a car to do anything from there. We chose accommodation there because it offered good value for money and wasn't too far from Eisenach, which was our actual destination. We drove there every day, but we accepted that for the sake of the good accommodation.

There's plenty to do in the area, something for everyone.

There's plenty to do in the area, something for everyone. Hiking, a toboggan run, museums, a beautiful castle near Eisenach, and a few excellent museums in Gotha. The village itself is very quiet, with a few restaurants and a gas station. You'll notice the railway line is right next door. A supermarket is 10 km away, Eisenach is nearby, and Gotha and Ruhla are a bit further.

Very quiet and centrally located, making it an ideal...

Very quiet and centrally located, making it an ideal starting point for many excursions. Numerous attractions in the surrounding area are easily accessible, such as Eisenach and the Rennsteig trail. Despite its central location, it is very modern with ample shopping opportunities and excellent public transport connections.

What we liked most was the very friendly owner, and it was a shame there wasn't a comfortable sofa or chair after a long walk. The apartment is above a small supermarket where you can buy delicious fresh rolls at eight o'clock.

Mosbach near Wutha-Farnroda is a beautiful village in a pleasant hilly landscape, with a local supermarket where you can buy warm rolls in the morning and wonderful hiking opportunities. Eisenach is easily accessible by car. There are many monuments and museums, potters, a variety of restaurants, and the Bach Festival at the end of October. Highly recommended!

The village is quite close to Eisenach and Ruhla.

The village is quite close to Eisenach and Ruhla. Wartburg Castle in Eisenach is well worth a visit. Eisenach's town center is also very charming. The Kartoffelhaus restaurant in Eisenach is excellent. There are some beautiful hiking trails in the Wutha-Farnroda area. We particularly enjoyed the Drachenschlucht (Dragon Gorge) and the Landgrafenschlucht (Landgrave's Gorge).
