We had a spacious room which was very clean with comfortable beds. Nice bathroom. Quiet location and we slept well. Plentiful breakfast for €9 each. Everywhere is sparkling clean and the host was very kind and helpful. Secure storage for the bicycles. Good location right in town centre. Very good value and can highly recommend.

The Breakfast blew me away!!! It was absolutely amazing and fantastic and wonderful!!!!!! The room was exceptionally comfortable and the location was perfect. We were on a bike trip heading towards Berlin and Marleen's Bar was the perfect stop for a night.

The culinary reading from the works of the renowned satirist and journalist Hans Georg Stengel (1922-2023), presented by Hans-Joachim Scheffler at the Ziegelhof wine bar, was a delightful experience. Small town, unfortunately many shops are closed. The monastery café is lovely with a selection of vegan cakes. Beautiful scenery! The castle cellar offers excellent food and breakfast (€14). Lots of harbors and waterways.

Broken sockets, torn wallpaper, defective lighting, doors...

Broken sockets, torn wallpaper, defective lighting, doors difficult to open, to name just a few issues... Check-in was impossible – no one was there – only possible through restaurant staff. Communication was impossible, as person A didn't know what person B had said. The DGUV (German Social Accident Insurance) inspection had expired – technically unacceptable... Terrible.

The area has so much to offer.

The area has so much to offer. We especially enjoyed the hike around the lake at Meseberg Palace, and the Kleine Schorfheide nature reserve is also very beautiful. The towns of Lindow, Templin, and Oranienburg are also worth a visit!

The place is located in the middle of nowhere in Brandenburg...

The place is located in the middle of nowhere in Brandenburg. In summer, you might be able to do something like cycling in the surrounding area, but in the off-season... Zehdenick somehow feels forgotten by the world. A small-town market with Polish vendors, a former monastery, a few discount stores, and an Indian and a Chinese restaurant – I've seen it all.

I stayed a night and it was a good experience. The hotel is well located and quiet. At first I had to call someone to get some help checking in as no one was there but it was quickly resolved. Room had a fan which was great to cool things down.

Very well run small hotel. Excellent restaurant. Nice surroundings, perfect for hiking/cycling/canoeing along the Havel river and to the nearby Mühlenberg brickworks museum. Many swimmable small lakes nearby.
