The location is perfect for us, though it's not the best if traveling with public transportation, but we like the naighborhood so much, so it wasn't a problem for us at all, we could reach everything we wanted to see by foot. The hotel is brand new, everything was perfectly clean. The whole design concept is modern, but the room itself has a country vibe, interesting contrast. The view over the canal from our room was stunning, not to mention the view from the top floor bar "Victory". The lively, friendly, urban atmosphere of the whole paper island is simply refreshing. We would definately stay there again when we're back in Copenhagen.

This place was really unique and perfect if you’re traveling solo or just need a simple spot to crash while you spend most of your time out exploring. It’s right in the center of Copenhagen, so you can literally walk to all the main sights. The staff are super friendly and always happy to help with anything. Everything is super easy too—your wristband works for the room, lockers, and even buying snacks or drinks. Plus, there are tons of restaurants just around the corner.

It's a flat city in a flat country but you will do a lot of walking. Obey the traffic signals, everyone else does and do not dilly dally on the crossings there is little leeway for stragglers. It has always been an expensive city and remains so but standards and quality are high in most cases. Lots worth seeing and work out the Metro system and trust me there is a way round the perilous steps to enter it at Central station, but it's not sign posted or obvious.

I am a little bias as my family are from Danmark, however, Copenhagen is a lovely city, and lends itself to those that love to wander the streets exploring. There is much to see and do regardless which season you are there. Our last visit was in November and although very cold, it was quite magical, with the christmas market in the city centre serving roasted nuts, and gløgg (mulled wine), tasty food is around every corner! The Rundetaarn (round tower) is an iconic 17th century structure in the heart of the city and is well worth the spiral ramp walk to the top. The Tivoli gardens is another famous landmark and I highly recommend going. And of course Danmark is famous for its food, not to mention the pastries! I love Copenhagen, again I am probably being biased, but I suggest you go visit and discover for yourself.

Wouldn't recommend eating in Tivoli -- so many other cute cozy restaurants with much better food. Spend time walking all the small streets around Strøget rather than sailing -- you'll get MUCH bigger "feel" for CPH and Danish people, the whole experience is happier and broader.

Truly wonderful Copenhagen, plenty of restaurants with friendly staff and service, Tivoli gardens were amazing with all the lights from late afternoon. Christmas markets on several of the squares adding to the magical atmosphere. You must try the gløgg and æbleskiver which is such a old Danish tradition In winter.

I do think that Copenhagen is one of the nicest cities that i visited, it is full of friendly locals who all speak great english. Transportation is great and easy with the automatic metro trains. The buildings are rather beautiful (all the castles, churches or the town hall), not only the old part of the city, the Danes do have a knack for design, even the newer parts of the city looked very inviting. I stayed here the second time in 10years and i still didnt manage to experience all the attractions to the fullest extent i intendet to. So a another trip to Copenhagen it is :) The only negatives i would have is that the city is quite expensive (depends on where you are from), restaurants do close way earlier than anywhere else (many at 9PM/9:30PM) and the main attractions all open at 10AM and mostly close at 5MP - so if you want to pack them in a weekend trip (i mostly mean guided tours inside the attractions - not only looking at them from outside) you simply cant see everything that you planned for. If you ignore Roskilde/Hillerode and Elsinore i think the time pressure falls a bit off. On the other hand these very nice castles usually dont offer so many guided tours in english, and sometimes the times overlap.

Fine and stylish apartments for a short term stay. Location is debatable - not so close to the airport, neither metro, but bus stop is just in front of the hotel and with a step-over to metro you can catch city centre in a reasonable time. No shops or restaurants close to the hotel, but neighbourhood is nice and calm. Price was great comparing other choices in Copenhagen, but still quite expensive comparing average Europe prices (not a problem of the hotel, but general situation in Copenhagen)

A nice hotel in the city centre. Breakfast is ok, just what we needed. The outside area is great in the summer when it gets hot inside. Nice staff, relaxed atmosphere, easy to get around on foot. One of the cheapest options in Copenhagen. You get a 20% discount in a nearby underground parking.
