My stay at Visionhous - a staffless hotel was nothing short of perfect, providing a seamless and efficient experience ! The hotel itself was beautifully maintained, and my room exceeded expectations in both cleanliness and size, proving to be far more spacious than the images suggested. The location was in the center of Frederikssund, with walking distance to everything. We met the cleaning staff on our way out and they were so sweet and attentive. Asked us about our stay and wished us a good weekend.

The hotel is a jewel with its beautiful salons, garden and terrace. Every morning, a nice lady and the owner of the hotel would welcome us and suggest to us where to go. The location is perfect to get to different beaches and towns nearby. There is also an excellent danish restaurant in the hotel. The room was bigger than other hotels, with two tables and a couch.

Sarah, the host, is super nice, flexible, happy to share tips about the area and places of interest in Denmark. The way she has organized and decorated the large flat we’ve rented makes it feel like a cosy nest for a family. Then: if you opt for a home-madr breakfast, Her freshly baked bread and marmelade are delicious. And she cares about Nature and her guests recycling their waste, makes it easy for them to do so, so her entire B&B makes a lot of sense to me. I wish her continued success, as it shows that she has put her heart into Nordgården!

This was a perfect place to stay for a night on our way through Hundested, a small port town close to the hotel. The owners were very friendly and helpful. Our room was clean with plenty of space for two people and a nice bathroom with an enclosed shower. Breakfast, served in a bright and airy room, included locally made organic yogurt, fruit, bread, cheeses, and eggs with bacon & vegetables. The chance to see several paintings by Danish artist Arne Haugen Sorensen on display was an added bonus. We look forward to coming back again the next time we are in Denmark.

Fantastic hotel. The layout of the hotel is beautiful providing an experience in itself. The room we stayed in was large and extremely comfortable. The location is within walking distance of the centre of Roskilde, including the vikingship museum and the cathedral, and there is a great view over the water from the hotel. On top of all this, the breakfast is delicious and there is lots of choice.

I was in Frederikssund to visit old acquaintances.

I was in Frederikssund to visit old acquaintances. I have lived in Frederikssund for over 35 years, so I know the whole city and surrounding area well, but the place is fine for my trip and I will book a room again the next time I visit the city.

Frederikssund itself, Roskilde Fjord and the Hornsherred...

Frederikssund itself, Roskilde Fjord and the Hornsherred area have a lot to offer. If you don't know the area, it is definitely worth a visit. I would definitely recommend that you explore both the city and the surrounding area and enjoy the many exciting and attractive sights, places and shopping opportunities, etc. :-) Have a great trip and enjoy yourself :-)

The location of the Hotel was perfect for me and the communication with the owner was very simple (via text), he managed to sort out the parking 'ticketing' for me very quickly. Though I never met any staff 'in person' the provision of access codes was very good and made my stay very comfortable.
