The apartment was is old house. The surfaces of the apartment have been renovated. The bathroom has not been renovated, although its service life has probably ended 20 years ago. The pipes in the bathroom smell and the seams are moldy. There is no ventilation in the apartment, so the humidity in the bathroom cannot escape. The bathroom may cause allergy symptoms and should be renovated.

This is the perfect place to stay for any trip to Copenhagen. We opted for the apartment and were pleasantly surprised by the super comfortable, spacious room we got for our 4-night stay, complete with a well-equipped kitchen. The apartment was cleaned daily, which was a delightful bonus. Kanalhuset organizes social dinners every night, offering the chance to enjoy a delicious meal in great company and meet some locals. The location is wonderful, just a 15-minute walk from the famous colorful houses and only a couple of metro stations away from other charming neighborhoods. The restaurant is cozy and well-organized, providing a conducive environment for work, almost like a nice coworking space. The coffee was also excellent!

It's a quiet hotel, even though it's on a busy road.

It's a quiet hotel, even though it's on a busy road. The guests room are in a wing off the back, where it's nice and quiet. Breakfast was good though coffee disappointing, compared to other hotels we've used in Europe. We would stay again

Location and the grounds is very nice.

Location and the grounds is very nice. The breakfast is ok but served between 7-9am. Room was big but outdated. TV has few channel and no bluetooth. Two person bed was separate spring mattresses that kept drifting apart. Bathroom is not up to standards for this kind of location and price range. Its a conference hotel more than it should be. Ordrupgaard Art museum is super close as is the beach. Lousiana art museum little ways and Bakken amusement park as well.

We had room 113. To the left of the staircase.

We had room 113. To the left of the staircase. The emergency exit outside our room was not allowed to be used. I think it is not legal to block the emergency exit. You could have kept all guests on the right side, then the problem would have been solved until the emergency exit was ready again. However, I did not check whether the other emergency exit was also blocked.

We rented a car and so we went to more remote places. Recommended in Aachen - like Tivoli Gardens but more for young people. Camp Adventure An amazing round tower that you climb that was built in a forest. Hening Museum of old cars in amazing condition and a rare collection of miniature cars Sailing to Sweden on a ferry

Nice location for a hike (1 hour) around Gentofte Lake with its rich birdlife. The same for the museums Ordrupgaard (Fine exhibition of French painters) - also Nivaagård Museum and Charlottenlund Fort. Gentofte is a cozy town within the town.

This was the last place I stayed on a multi-city trip so I was relieved to find out it was a comfortable, peaceful room in a comfortable, peaceful suburb of Copenhagen. Really easy to get to and from the airport with just 1 change on the tube and easy enough to get back into the city as well. Staff were very friendly the few times I interacted with them and something very impressive was that my room looked out onto the busy street level car park and I could barely hear anybody using it!

The host Bent was very kind. Handed us the keys upon arrival and he toured us around the place. The flat has everything you need for the stay even the kitchen! So thankful. The place is nice, huge with balcony. It is 15mins drive to Copenhagen Centrum, where you can find lots of paid parking. Lidl is 3 blocks away from property and so with the S train station. There is free parking in front of the property. Definitely will stay here again.

Very clean, very quite, very comfortable bed, much better than in hotel. Kettle, tea, coffee, welcoming sweets makes you to feel at home. I loved the letter.
