Beautiful town, easy to walk around, lots of shops and food choices. I would recommend Luna Ristorante Skagen for dinner the food was excellent. Enjoyed stops at Grenen or Den Tilsandede Kirke. Stayed at the Skagen Harbor Hotel and was very pleased with accommodations and breakfast that was included.

The Skagen museum, including Anchers house.

The Skagen museum, including Anchers house. The food and the hotel was excellent. We did not go to the other sights this time as we have been before. However, we never get tired of the paintings in the museum. Also a very good place to eat.

I love Skagen. I loved the colour and holiday feel about it.

I love Skagen. I loved the colour and holiday feel about it. It was compact enough but not too small to feel crowded. The museums were great as weas the selection of cafes and restaurants (even though I tried only a few).

Museums and wonderful restaurants and a fantastic Skagen Bakery! We were going to stay one night and ended up staying three nights. Our trip to Grenen, where the Baltic Sea and the North Sea meet, was my favorite.

Wonderful little village with beautiful sites to see. great...

Wonderful little village with beautiful sites to see. great walking street with many shops. the sandworm experience was once fun and then to have a lifetime experience to stand in the sand and let the water from two different oceans wash over your feet. Raberg Mile was amazing to see even if it was a in the middle of a huge rainfall. The Sand buried church was really cool to see and just a short 400km walk from the parking lot. This town is a must see if you're traveling in Denmark.

It’s a nice town to stop and visit but unless you’re staying longer to go to the beach, one day/one and a half should be enough to rent a bike and visit Grenen (the northern part of Denmark), the history museum (with the bunkers from WWII), the art museum and the ruins of a church. Walking around the city centre is quite nice as well.

The staff were friendly, and the room was spacious and comfortable. Despite being on the ground floor next to the road, the windows and doors were well-insulated, so noise was minimal. Just the occasional bird call. Breakfast was simple but of good quality. There were plenty of seating areas around the hotel, and the check-in process, along with instructions for after-hours amenities, was clearly explained.

the breakfast was excellent. the hotel very clean and the staff incredibly nice and helpful. the hire bikes were great too and a good price. The walk to the top of Denmark was mighty impressive.

This is a unique place with history. It is different from a hotel you get for the same price elsewhere. I guess everything is expensive in Skagen and at least this is something to remember.
