Beautiful, wonderful accommodating people. Pleasant surroundings in each area . K F C, chinese food from Panda, as well as Family Chinese restaurant. We really enjoyed our stay. We visited / worked in Roseau, Canefield & Portsmouth.

Roseau is a pretty laid back city.

Roseau is a pretty laid back city. There are still a lot of old structures. I think that as the capital there needs to be more development. Walking the streets alone felt safe. I notice two things that need improvement. The bus need to have a route banner and the license plates needs to be colour coated to tell Taxi apart from minibuses. I like the ice cream on the port front near the museum. As a solo travel, it's expensive to sightsee and taxi Fare is pretty high. Better to travel with a group. This saves on cost.

Roseau is the capital, so you get the cruise ship crowds, but there are lots of places to see within walking distance. The local restaurant scene is somewhat disappointing, but the natural beauty of the island is outstanding. Trafalgar falls, Emerald Lake, Freshwater lake, Titou Gorge are all wihtin a 1 hour drive from Roseau.

We went on several tours which was enjoyable, the sulfur pools, Trafalga Fall, mount Burne and others. We need to return to Dominica to complete others as we did not have enough time this trip. The city itself is in walking distance

I traveled to Dominica for work.

I traveled to Dominica for work. The Fort Young hotel is the best in the country. A little pricey, but in general, Dominica is expensive. I did not have time for diving or sight seeing, but did it in my previous trip and it was great! The hotel has all the amenities and is very comfortable. The staff is very nice and helpful.

Nature and Adventure is a must for me so hence me coming to Dominica. Scotts Head;OMG that place is like a Paradise very beautiful, your waterfalls beautiful and COLD, SCREWS; that hot spring was really relaxing and nice. THE CHOCOLATE FACTORY; DO NOT GO THERE the Lady was 10/10 unpleasant the minute we arrived her face was unpleasant, I introduced myself & was hoping for an introduction but none,I asked a question she steups and turn off her face so the others who were with me walked off I remained because I have patience like job. She didn't even want me touch the pack of chocolate to read the ingredients far less ask her about the Chocolate,I asked her if she is not feeling well because as humans we can be irritated or uncomfortable if working and feeling sick her response was "I'm feeling good" so I was confused why all the ATTITUDE. I told her I'm not doing the tour I'm just buying Chocolates, I would have bought 15 Chocolate to carry back home for family and friends but her ATTITUDE, she walked off on me and I was CONFUSED and that's when my patience ended and I had to open my mouth. YOU CANNOT TREAT tourist who coming to your place of business like that, other tourist who were there told one of the Lady who were with me they are NOT BUYING because the lady has an attitude and she didn't do her anything. Tell me CHOCOLATE FACTORY how can you have workers who are unpleasant to customers. I even asked her DO YOU NOT WANT ME TO BUY FROM YOU or It's the other way around? HER ATTITUDE STINKS and I would be telling everyone DO NOT GO WHERE THEY MAKE CHOCOLATE in Dominica unless you get someone who is pleasant and put her to the BACK where she doesn't have to greet tourist. That attitude can upset your entire trip to Dominica....UNACCEPTABLE

The Place is a brand new villa, well equipped on top of a small Hill overlooking Roseau. The view from the balconies is incredible. Every day you get an amazing Sunset. Walking down to the city takes about 20 minutes, going back up i recommend a taxi :) You can also order food to the house easily.. From Roseau you can easily get Busses to many parts of the Island, but it is easiest if you have a car. Tim is a very welcoming host, he picked me up from the Ferry and is always very helpful. Next time is stay longer.

Nice yellow building just outside the noisy city center. Accommodating is surprisingly expensive here, so compared to other places in the world this is not value for money. But in Roseau I think this is a nice place to stay for a couple of days. Very basic breakfast included - they even charge (a lot) extra if you want eggs, and we booked a room with ocean view, but the view was only if you sat outside the door of the room. Short walk to the city center and pretty calm environment.

I absolutely loved it here and wish that I could've stayed longer! The location is just perfect: 15 min walk from the ferry. There are local busses that go to Roseau or Point Michel on the road just outside the property. An absolute 5 star is for the proximity to the beach, in fact the building is located right on the pebbled beach, perfect! The host, Hubert, and also Chrlotte are very responsive and welcoming. The beds are comfy, the place is clean, a must stay when in Dominica!

Quiet oasis away from the center of town. Beautiful views of ocean and Roseau. Apartment was spacious and tastefully decorated. Gorgeous infinity pool. Hosts provide easy rental car access as they highly recommend renting a car to get around.

Great accommodation. Our host kindly picked us at the city centre of Roseau and drove us to the accommodation. He was very welcoming and accessible. There was a restaurant at 5 minutes of walk serving breakfast and dinner with local dishes.
