From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel welcome. Our studio suite had everything we could want, including a terrace with outdoor seating. Garden pool and sun terrace were perfect for afternoons in the sun. Dining options were varied, and everything was delicious.

We stayed with our kids and had such a pleasant time. The suite was spacious, and the kitchenette allowed us to prepare simple meals. The rooftop pool was safe and fun for the children, while we enjoyed the terrace in the evenings. Breakfast included plenty of family-friendly options. Having the beach right outside was such a convenience.

The beachfront location was gorgeous and convenient. Our junior suite was well designed, with modern touches and a terrace for relaxing. We tried Argentinian, Italian, and local dishes, and all were excellent. The spa treatments added a sense of luxury to the trip. We highly recommend it.

The best thing about the property was the staff. receptionist was very welcoming, spoke Eng very well which made it easy to communicate whatever I needed. They even cleaned my room and let me enter earlier then the regular check-in hours and check out a bit later because my flight was as in late afternoon. The breakfast is modest, but was sufficient for me. I loved and couldn’t wait the morning to have fresh juice they made. Room and bathroom were very clean, smelled nice and bed was comfortable. Air conditioning worked perfectly.

We had a wonderful stay at HM Bávaro Beach. Everything was clean, stylish, and very comfortable. The staff were absolutely lovely – kind, friendly, and always smiling. You could really feel the warm hospitality throughout the hotel. The overall experience was fantastic. The view from the sky bar and infinity pool overlooking the ocean was simply breathtaking – a real highlight of our stay. A great hotel in a beautiful location. We truly enjoyed it.

    Punta Cana is a lovely place.

    Punta Cana is a lovely place. It would be nice to have public transportation buses to the Blue Mall etc. Lots to see and do here. It would be really nice to be able to book tourist sight seeing flights on helicopters and small planes. We did zip lining and visited the monkeys..both good experiences our parasailing was cancelled correctly due to the tropical storm. I always try to leave small tips for workers in the resorts. They are very appreciative of the money. It makes a difference.

    This was my second time visiting Punta Cana.

    This was my second time visiting Punta Cana. Still undergoing a lot of building and construction, but it is a growing county. We stayed in Uvero Alto at the beginning of September. We did see plenty of seaweed but they do try to remove it daily. But for my liking the ocean is nice to see but due to the darker water and seaweed I didn't get in the water. Macoa beach was not impressive and they have many vendors that are extremely overpriced. Other than that you can walk along the beach, but plan to take your own food for the day or spend $25 per lb of fish or $30 per lb for lobster. Saona Island was beautiful, you see the blue Caribbean waters and white sand. This time we saw clear waters, but the first time there was a lot of seaweed.

    I imagine that the big resorts in Punta Cana are nice. The rest of the town is just a run down beach town geared for tourists. Poorly planned and even more poorly maintained. It's pretty much a smaller, dirtier version of Jacksonville, Florida.

    The hotel was very beautiful, lovely flower, I felt safe with my daughter there. There were things to do at every corner of the ground and very nice entertainment at night. Very big hotel, drink and food all day long, there were things for children to partaking in and many other things to do. I would recommend for others to visit when they get a chance.

    Beautiful place, however, a little scary at some excursions for women who are alone, with men walking up to my cousin and I to talk inappropriately. Gratefully, there were other men a part of our tour that was our "security".

    Worse than I could have imagined...

    Worse than I could have imagined... Unfortunately, the type of guests staying made the stay unbearable. These guests were using illicit substances inside the hotel, playing loud music, taking over common areas like the swim-up bar, engaging in sexual behavior in the pool seating areas and at the disco, and generally being noisy and unbearable.

    We had a layover of 2 nights in the Dominican republic with flight in and out from Punta Cana. Tropicana Hotel was for us a perfect accommodation for our short stay with an excellent value for money. Very comfortable and clean room. Very friendly people and positive vibes. Abundant food for breakfast - I loved the pancakes. We spent our full day at the beach which can be reached easily by the walking.

Sandy took great care of us by showing us the finest beaches and good restaurants, she made a lot of effort to make us feel like home.     Checked out on the 12 Oct 2024, the hotel is suitable for young people rather, the entertainment is fantastic, at first it feels overcrowded compared to other 5 stars hotels in Punta Cana but it grows on you... The room was actually the best even better than the rest of 5 stars hotels we stayed at.
