It’s clear he loves what he does, and it shines through in every detail. The Royal River Suites & Spa Aparthotel is a true haven – with a stunning pool, delicious breakfast, and rooms that instantly make you feel comfortable and cared for. The stay at Mindo Bird Lodge was excellent. The room may not have been 5 star, but it was comfortable and close to the action. The birds are all around. you can sit under cover and have birds fly right by you. Thev private waterfall is incedible - you feel like you are the only one to have ever been there. Such a great place.

We enjoyed the nice place near the river (also if you don’t book a river house, there is a common space at the river). The staff was very friendly and we felt really welcome. The smaller rooms are perfect for cat lovers, there are 3 nice cats waiting to be petted. WiFi was good in the house, but not at the river. There is good LTE reception though. The breakfast was delicious, after months of having bread and jam it was nice to have a Syrian breakfast and excellent Arabic coffee with cardamom. We sometimes walked the half hour to Mindo, which feels safe, even at night. When it rained we took a taxi for about 3 or 4 dollar.

Everything. This place is a great space to rest, relax, work and enjoy nature. You have to walk 10-15 to the city center but that gives you a lot of peace as you are surrounded by nature. Birds can be seen from the terrace. The room has plenty of space and storage which is great. It has a fully equipped kitchen and rooms are very spacious and clean. So it is the toilet. The staff is very kind, it has a lot of security (automated main gate, CCTV) and they are helpful and reachable. We came for a couple of nights and stayed a week. The Internet is 5G and very solid to stream and do video meetings, so safe for work. Complimentary coffee, tea and kitchen basics. Enjoy your time here!

Everything! The host is lovely and was very helpful! She ensured we had everything we needed - the ATM was not working in town and we ran out of cash and she helped us out which was so nice and let us be able to eat haha! She also helped us book activities in the area and plan our time out! The room was very comfortable and each room had an area on the balcony/porch with a hammock and sitting area overlooking the gardens They offer laundry at an affordable price She even let us check out a little later while we waited for our bus time so we didn't have to rush! it was only a short walk (15-20 mins) to town, or she gave us whattsapp numbers for local taxi drivers who were super reliable and charged USD2-3 each way
