Lovely old building, beautifully restored and decorated and comfortably furnished. Very convenient location, walking distance of everything, including the tram stop to the bus station and airport. Spacious bedroom, fabulously quiet, comfy bed, extensive buffet breakfast. Shared balcony with sofas and chairs to relax in the open air if, like us, you prefer to be outside in the daylight. Very pleasant, helpful and friendly staff. We were able to leave our bags after checking out and after a day exploring Cuenca relaxed in the hotel lounge for a couple of hours before our evening flight to Quito - so much nicer than waiting at the airport! This hotel is the best we’ve stayed at in our four weeks in Ecuador and perfect for a two or three night stay.

We really enjoyed our stay at pepes! Great location for exploring Cuenca and the personnel was really lovely. The breakfast was plentiful and overall the interior of the hotel is very welcoming!
