I booked and made the mistake of not checking that the price online included everything so was surprise when at check in it was higher but they did explain to me price did not include taxes and it did say on the website not quite clearly but I hadn't noticed. The hotel is owner-operated, is located in the middle of the cloud forest, has a pool, offers fantastically good massages and has a phenomenal view of the sea and the surrounding landscape. A restaurant serving freshly prepared Ecuadorian cuisine rounds out the offerings. The pool area was nice and the beach was very private and great for long walks. The room was small, but we did not spend a lot of time there.
