The apartment is located quite close to the train station, but the trains can't be heard if the windows are closed. It was very clean, modern, renovated. Bedding sheets, towels and kitchenware were provided, WiFi was operating. Communication with the host was very easy and polite, check-in and out instructions were clear.

A place with history and the host who wants to pass it on. The place has had a connection to Oru Castle, but there certainly is a story from Soviet time. If you want an authentic place, with magnificent furniture in a large dining room, heavy curtains, good beds, peace and quiet, home-baked bread and a sumptuous breakfast table, then this is the place. If you want personality, commitment and to feel like a valued guest, this is it. You get it all. Colors, stories and the atmosphere. No indifference, randomness or anonymity. Everything is chosen with care. Also Andrea Bocelli's aria during the breakfast. I know I will happily return again.

Johvi is a small town, but it surprised us with a very...

Johvi is a small town, but it surprised us with a very modern concert hall and a few other buildings, large modern shops, a stylish bridge, and attractive lingonberry lamps and chairs. Everything was clean and tidy, the snowy paths were cleared. Drivers patiently let us cross the street. It seems that the residents love their city.

I traveled by Lux Ekspress bus.

I traveled by Lux Ekspress bus. Hotel Wironia is relatively close to the bus station. Shopping centers, stadiums, theater, restaurants are relatively close. There is a good bus connection to Toila SPA, which is not far from Jõhvi.

I was born in Rakvere. I went to school in Jõhvi.

I was born in Rakvere. I went to school in Jõhvi. I continued my studies at the University of Tartu and from there I was transferred to Paide. Now I only visit cemeteries and my former classmate's villages. Jõhvi has developed further. The majority of people here are Russians.

Jõhvi is a modern city, contrasting with its residential areas, many beautiful private houses, simple houses. There could be more greenery. Many shops, good choices. Nice little church, where Patriarch Alexius II once worked. Enough places to eat.
