The property was in a great location in a quiet residential area - close to big supermarkets, had free parking. The area around the river was very pretty, with the two castles almost side by side. Very lucky with sunshine and blue sky. After an initially disappointing accommodation experience, we found a very nice hotel (Hotel Inger). Clean, modern, great staff and reasonably priced with on site parking.

I do not know any other town, where you can see two medieval castles in good condition from two different countries watching each other over the river. Nice promenade. Bastion Viktoria. Kaar cafe. Fabulous view of the river from Ranna Resto terrace.

Narva is a mix of several unique historical places (castle, town hall, Krenholm manufactory) and grim Soviet concrete architecture. The promenade by the river deserves special attention, you can see another castle on Russian side and an endless string of people crossing the border on foot. There is a multi-kilometer nice sandy beach 15 kilometers from the town (in Narva-Jöesuu). You can rent bikes and tour all these places in a few days. Not a lot good places for eat, but Rimi's ready-to-eat food is ok. Note you must book Krenholm manufactory visit in advance at castle's museum.

Narva castle and Lutheran church were in our must-see list. Needless to underline the Kreenholm manufacture that was a true landmark. Narva-Jõesuu is in a close range and perfect for day at the beach leaving a lot of space for everyone. Overall decent value for money considering any alternatives either in Pärnu or Southern part of Estonia.

Narva is a peaceful city, most of the city feels like a sum of apartment buildings. The entire city is easily walkable. There are multiple shopping centers and a few cafes to eat. Good place for resting, not so much for someone looking for buzzing city life.

Narva is a very interesting little Estonian city that is...

Narva is a very interesting little Estonian city that is mostly inhabited not by ethnic Estonians, but by ethnic Russians (which I found quite pleasing). There is an historic fortress there that I've visited in the past – primarily historic models and exhibits about campaigns of Peter the Great. The views along the river separating Estonia from Russia are quite nice and ideal for some lovely photos. Unfortunately, Narva Russians are treated with contempt and disdain by many, if not most, Estonians; it's a sad commentary on humanity. Estonian passport control and customs are quite invasive for an American citizen passing from Russia into Estonia (but survivable). In times past I have loved Narva, but sadly, the EU has made a very negative impact on this lovely little city.

The apartment is clean, cosy, well equipped and only five minutes walk from the station. it’s also within walking distance of Narva Castle. The host is very kind and hospitable, she provided complimentary snacks and drinks, and messaged me on my first day to check everything was okay. She also offered a late checkout.

A cozy room with big bed, super location, 5 min to Fama centrum and 5 min to Lidle. 15 min to promenade and board with Russia. Good european breakfast, a taxy´s fee is 3,50 only. Near good places to have a lunch, a great cafe in the lobby of Hotell.
