This is one of the best accommodation in our life. The view from the room and also from the terrace is beautiful on the mountains of the Valley of the Kings. The apartman was really modern and new, our stay was really comfortable, the host was also really kind and gentle. There were several opportunities for fun activities such as boat trip on the Nile, balloon flight or simply to visit the many amazing archaeological sites. This place is really perfect for long stays as you can easily find programs for a whole week or even more.

Me and my boyfriend just really fell in love with Elphardous Hotel, that is why we returned here after our first stay three years ago. The people who run the hotel are incredibly nice and make you feel at home. The rooms of Elphardous are simpel, but comfortable and you get everything you need for a very good price. Breakfast is good, and there a lots of shops nearby if you need something. Me and my boyfriend like to travel very simpel, because we are outdoors all day. Gorgeous grounds and pool area right on the Nile. We got a family room, which was actually two rooms for our kids and it was great for them to have extra space. It was expensive for all of us to stay, but relative to other hotels in Egypt it was great value. Breakfast was excellent. Great service by the pool. Happy hour was nice.

Absolutely charming guesthouse run by Tayeb and his family, who were extremely hospitable and welcoming – they were kind enough to let us check in early after our overnight train from Cairo and to keep one room for a few extra hours on our last day. The breakfast is incredible – we couldn't believe how much food there was, and it just kept coming! The aubergines with tahini were a particular highlight, and we all loved the halawa spread; we also had dinner one night, which was one of our favourite meals of the whole trip. For our second night, Tayeb recommended an amazing local restaurant, which was our other favourite meal! He also arranged a taxi to bring us back. Nothing was too much trouble, and we felt totally relaxed and at home. Would recommend without reservation to anyone wanting to experience Egyptian hospitality and to support a local family. Oh, and we loved being able to watch the hot air balloons over the Valley of the Kings in the morning! Great viewpoint from the terrace.

King House stay was great! It's on the West Bank and quiet. Ahmed is a jewel. He is an awesome host and made sure we were comfortable with everything! The apartment is very clean and comfortable. Eden has been named appropriately as it really is a paradise. It is so tranquil and luscious, right on the Nile. In fact, it was the most beautiful part of the Nile I saw. The accommodation is comfortable and beautiful with everything you need. It’s a family owned and run business on family land, and you can tell. A great deal of love and care nurtures this place and you are welcomed like family into that care. I was treated like a Queen, with all my needs accommodated for. Just ask for anything you require and they will do their best to assist. I made friends with the lovely staff and owner but was also provided with plenty of space and peace without any hustling or hassling which you can experience elsewhere in Egypt. This was a relief and contributed to my feelings of safety and relaxation. Truly, everything was perfect. Eden stole my heart and I can’t wait to return! I highly recommend it and wish them all the success they deserve.
