I enjoyed the stay and I was suprised with clean rooms, A/C and modern style interior. The bathrooms were also okay, even tho they were outside of rented room, in the hallway but there were four of them.

Cozy clean room with a huge bathroom. They put some pastry with jam and juices in the fridge which was very nice of them. Location is perfect close to the city and the beach. Checkin and checkout was fast and easy.

We had a wonderful stay at Hampton By Hilton Alicante Airport. This is a brand new property that has only been open a week. The rooms were very nice, bed comfortable, lovely towels and nice amenities. Great location near the airport, the staff booked a taxi which arrived on time. The complimentary breakfast was a bonus, simple but everything we needed. Highly recommend.

A 7000 Year Old Mediterranean Jewel

Embraced by the sandy Costa Blanca beaches and caressed by the crystalline waters of the Mediterranean Sea, Alicante has a rich heritage built over thousands of years. Alacant (as it's known in Valencian) has a deep history ranging from the first tribes that arrived at the slopes of Mount Benacantil to Greeks, Romans and Moors. Nowadays, this modern city boasts a bustling harbour, great Spanish nightlife, charming old streets and modern beach resorts.

Overlooking the city from the top of Mount Benacantil, the Castle of Santa Barbara was built in the 9th century during Islamic rule. Cascading down the slopes towards the city centre, L'Ereta Park has terraced levels that offer stunning panoramic views of the city. The remains of the ancient Roman town of Lucentum are also just a few kilometres away.

A vibrant City but not spoilt by too much tourism.

A vibrant City but not spoilt by too much tourism. Lots of sights to see, bars and restaurants and shops. All right behind a lovely harbour and beach with a very nice promenade. This is perfect for a few days or for longer if you wish to explore outside the area using the tram, bus and train network. I would recommend a day trip to Elche. Its only 25 minutes by bus from the Bus Station. This is a lovely inland City almost as big as Alicante with a substantial old town of cobbled type streets and independant shops. We spent a very pleasent day there. The close proximity to the airport (15-20 minutes by C6 bus from outside the terminal which runs every 15 minutes or taxi at around 20 euros) is great.

Beautiful city and perfect for a weekend getaway. Spoiled for choice of places to eat and drink. Lovely old town, shopping district, Castle, Marina and beach. The city felt very safe even when it was busy in the evenings.

Alicante is a medium sized Spanish city with lots of interesting areas, museums, art galleries and a lovely "Ramblas" alongside the beach. The Marq, archeological museum is particularly interesting. There is a yacht marina and several cruise ships call at the port. The Castle of Santa Barbara is very interesting to visit for a panoramic view of the city. All in all Alicante is a very vibrant city with lots to enjoy for probably 4-5 days.

Alicante is a lovely city, the perfect mix of city life, culture, and beach. I love that many locals still speak Spanish, even though it’s also full of tourists. You can hear locals around, see them enjoying moments with family or friends at cafés while having drinks. It feels so good to be around them, it’s not just tourists. There are plenty of things to visit, and many restaurants, bars, clubs, and pubs, so you have a lot of choices. It’s also very easy to travel to other cities from Alicante, which is great. The beach is simple but perfect for relaxing and enjoying the view. It even has toilets and foot showers, which is very convenient.

Well, I could certainly have happily stayed two or three days: it's a nice relaxed city with a compact and attractive old centre, well equipped for tourists (attractive esplanade, a few museums, impressive castle (free entry), fine beach and many, many restaurants/local food outlets) but happily not overrun by them (tourists) - or not in October, anyway. It's encircled by high hills and there are other authentic and attractive towns nearby - not to mention some fabulous mountain scenery within an hour's drive east/inland (Sierra de Aitana) if you had the option of a hire car to explore beyond the city. La Vila Joyosa was another coastal town with no pretentions and a splendid beachfront, a little further east.

The location was great. The hotel is right across the basilica. The hotel is in old building, its lovely, narrow corridors, it's cozy. It has a nice terrace, we did not make use of it but people were enjoying their evenings. They were so friendly that they let us check-in a bit earlier because we arrived quite early to Alicante. It's close to the city centre, we walked to the city and an just 10 minutes walk to the metro station to go to the beach.

Hotel is located outside the city centre - 50 min walk - but has no. 23 bus service immediately outside which makes travel to/from the city very convenient. It is also a 20 min walk or 6-7 min bus ride to the nearest tram station and 20 min walk to Albuferta beach. Lovely informed staff. Very clean and rooms serviced daily. Pool and sun bathing area are good. Did not use restaurant but looked busy with good breakfast and dinner buffets.

Probably the best hotel in terms of price and performance that Alicante has to offer. Pleasant quiet and nice stay. Clean hotel, but it is clearly not a 5 star luxury hotel with all inclusive, more for younger people who want to be centrally located. The center is right outside the hotel door! Otherwise, clean, nice, air-conditioned rooms. Nice service and all in all an excellent stay. Gladly again

This is a very well-located (on the beach) hotel, with excellent staff, large, clean room and good facilities. Alicante is a lovely town, especially this time of year (January) when it is warm, but quiet. Bus links (21 andf 22) from the central station are excellent.
