We just loved this hotel. It has the most amazing views, especially from around the pool area. We liked the eclectic mix of furnishings and all the wonderful books laid out everywhere. The staff were all very pleasant. Overall this was one of our very favourite places to drop and relax on our long journey through Spain.

A lovely village in the Sierra Norte.

A lovely village in the Sierra Norte. Friendly people and very much a living working village. Known for exceptional Jamon it is well served by bars and restaurants - the ones we used were very good. Supermarkets and shops selling local produce along with a weekly market are in place. Walks into the stunning countryside are plentiful and of varying levels. Accessible from Seville by car within an hour - I believe a bus service is also in place. A village on the Camino de Santiago - Via de la plata.

It's a small village with very welcoming people.

It's a small village with very welcoming people. Our visit was dedicated to the procession of Christ and the festivities that day. We had lunch at Restaurante La Tinaja: salads, barbecued chorizo, and fried suckling pig. Everything was delicious. The area is perfect for nature walks.

As a pilgrim, I received everything I needed. The food was excellent, the staff were very helpful, the room was great, and the heating worked perfectly. I was very happy and satisfied with this accommodation.

Small, clean rural hotel is small town- but the hospitality and generosity of the owner is hard to beat. He did all he could to accommodate our wishes. As we traveled by e-bikes, we were allowed to store them in the lobby and received a room close to them. He also opened the kitchen to serve us food. The food was truly excellent. The rooms are basic and spacious and clean - but basic. Overall a great experience.

The manager of the hotel was so nice and very accommodating. We had a lovely dinner there, and our friends who could not stay at the El Romeral hotel because there was no room available were able to join us for dinner at the Hotel El Romeral.

The bed was very comfortable. We enjoyed our evening menú for €14. The host was very helpful. The hotel was peaceful. The bathroom was enormous!
