I loved that this charming old Inn was a bit out of main city. For the first time during my 10 day Spanish vacation I was able to walk in the grass with my shoes off. The staff were exceptional. I visited 5 cities in Spain and stayed at 5 hotels. This one was the best!

We were travelling from Caen to Murcia the hotel is in an ideal place for a stop over. The receptionist was lovely she was very pleasant and helpful. The room we had was lovely very large, clean and very quiet. We will definitely stay again on our travels

This is a great hotel, with really friendly, helpful staff. The bed was big and comfortable, a good breakfast, and everything was spotlessly clean. The shower was fabulous! It doesn't look pretty from the outside, and it is in an industrial area, but it was a perfect stopover, and a short walk (30 minutes or so) into town. We would definitely go back.

The hotel is very nice and well decorated, and the restaurant offers good value for money. This was our second stay, and we’ve generally enjoyed it in the past. Unfortunately, during this visit we were woken at 5:20 a.m. by the fire alarm. We quickly got dressed and went downstairs, where several other guests had gathered. The front doors were closed and there were no staff members around. The alarm continued for about 10 minutes before a member of staff appeared, but no explanation was given about what was happening. When we checked out, the receptionist apologised, but when I mentioned that no staff were present during the alarm, she insisted there were. I feel that when a fire alarm sounds for that length of time, staff should be visible and available to guide guests and provide reassurance

The night at this hotel was a nightmare!

The night at this hotel was a nightmare! There was no hotel staff at reception. And some people arrive thinking it's a motel and that a good time is guaranteed, without considering that there are people in the adjoining rooms who have to get up early. I had to give a lecture, and I had to leave exhausted...

The first day it was difficult to find because the car's GPS didn't recognize the address, and the hotel's visibility at night is poor. Otherwise, it's a very good hotel, with large rooms and bathrooms, and once we found it, a great base for visiting everything around Pamplona. The restaurant is good for dinner, with reasonable prices and very attentive staff.

Berrioplano lies just outside Pamplona and is an ideal base...

Berrioplano lies just outside Pamplona and is an ideal base for visiting the city, provided you have a car! It also offers a peaceful retreat for the night. However, if I were planning to hike in the Basque Country, I would probably choose an even more rural base.

We loved everything about this hotel, and would definitely stay again. The room styling, the food, the spa, and all the staff were lovely. WE didn't have our dog with us, but nice to see they are dog friendly.

We enjoyed our visit very much. The staff were great and very helpful. Strong WiFi coverage around the hotel. The food was good, but lacks accompaniments. Lots of parking.
