Reception service was incorrect ( no feedback on our complaints) service at the bar, terras, and Bistro was very slow, and bad due lack of staff. Food in Bistro is far below par. The room is too small, no privacy in the bathroom. Shower in the bathtub big no-no. Waist of time as we used this hotel as a transit hotel, but the hotel was far away from the highway, and was not worth the detour.

The hotel is very nice, although the room is small.

The hotel is very nice, although the room is small. We missed having common areas where we could relax, read, or have a drink comfortably, as it rained and we couldn't enjoy the outdoor spaces (where there are terraces). The bar area is basic and has stools.

Perfect for a romantic getaway. I would highlight the natural beauty surrounding the hotel. The tranquility invites relaxation and disconnection. They have maintained the essence of the palace both inside and out. The service is worthy of the location.

It's important to know that the journey from Bilbao is 87 km...

It's important to know that the journey from Bilbao is 87 km long and takes at least 1 hour and 15 minutes, while from San Sebastian it's only 55 km and easier, as you don't have to travel through the mountains. The village itself has only one taverna and a small shop; otherwise, nature and relaxation are perfectly combined here.

The Michelin-starred restaurant was fantastic, though you have to appreciate the modern design. There were a few minor flaws that weren't particularly nice. All in all, though, it's a lovely place with charm and friendly staff!

I will definitely return.

I will definitely return. The service, cleanliness, and rest were outstanding, and the breakfast was a perfect 10. Beautiful scenery and nature everywhere you looked—everything you need for a relaxing and comfortable stay. It's a centrally located town, perfect for exploring San Sebastián.

Beautiful location. 17th century convent sensitively converted into a hotel with all the required modern facilities yet maintaining the integrity of the original. Exceptionally helpful and friendly staff who went the extra mile (or kilometre) to help one. Fabulous breakfast. Everything homemade and fresh. Very comfortable, good-sized bedroom. Easy parking. It is expensive but worth it for the experience.

Its was just what we were after for our holiday. Beautiful hotel, nicely decorated, very comfortable large bedroom with an accompanying large bathroom. Decorated exquisitely. The staff are all so friendly and helpful and very knowledgeable. The breakfast is of a good size and is of good quality and their bistro and main restaurant are of a very high level.
