We had a fantastic stay in this Family run hotel. The hostess was so kind and thoughtful. Highlights include the amazingly beautiful grounds, courtyard where you can sit and read, very clean room with a lovely view and the peace and quiet in the countryside. Breakfast was very good with home made cake, toast, meats and cheese, tea and coffee as well as freshly squeezed orange juice. We'd definitely recommend this hotel very highly. Great value for money too.

    The town of Boiro is pleasant, not too big, not overly '...

    The town of Boiro is pleasant, not too big, not overly 'touristy'. Some people spoke a little English but I'd say it's off the beaten track as far as a UK tourist destination. The beach was nearly deserted with a reasonable amount of seaweed so I didn't actually swim in the sea. There's a lovely park to take a walks in. Siesta times rule so be prepared to eat late. Plenty of supermarkets to stock up on provisions. About an hours drive to Santiago and many other beautiful destinations. Overall, I enjoyed being in Boiro.

    Our rental was a fully renovated 3 story house by the small port of a fishing village. The house was very charming and tastefully designed with ample beds and quality bedding and towels, fully equipped kitchen, laundry and 3 bathrooms. The only thing missing that my family would have liked to have was wifi. There were many beaches within easy reach on the Arousa river and the ocean was a 1/2 hour drive west. We tried many of the restaurants recommended by our host and enjoyed fresh seafood and other typical specialties of the region. Boiro is very easy to navigate as are the other towns along the coast. One charming town near the Atlantic has a maze of small streets and a selection of tapas bars facing the water. There is nothing I would avoid in this area.

    O piso é moi bonito e está moi ben equipado, ideal para desconectar uns días nun pueblo pequeniño a poucos minutos de Boiro. O que máis me ghustou foron as vistas de noite onde de lonxe se veia todo o pueblo iluminado. Tes un super a poucos metros onde podes comprar todo o que necesites e podes ir andando ata o puerto que merece moito a pena velo. Hai onde aparcar fóra pero tes unha plaza dentro bastante amplia. Silvia está pendiente desde o momento en que fas a reserva ata que fas a entrada no piso.

    This is a lovely rural hotel run by a lovely host. Although she spoke no english and my Spanish is basic, we were able to understand each other enough. She provided us with a lovely breakfast and then helped to translate a walking guide for a local hike that was written only in the Galician language. The room was very comfortable with a sofa as well as all the usual ameneties. There is onsite parking in the hotel grounds, and the signs to find the hotel from the nearby town were excellently placed.

    This apartment was very well equipped. Everyday I discovered details that the host had anticipated that we would need. It was a truly experience of home away from home. The linen was top quality. The place was also very clean, tastefully decorated and it was it a perfect location at Boiro. It was a pleasure staying here!
