One word, "perfect". Located in the middle of the many bodegas, in a small charmant town, where you can relax, take your time and enjoy a nice glass of wine. The lady of the house was super charmant and helpfull. The Belgian owner is always in for a nice chat. The breakfast was a full option treatment. A nice swimmingpool is accessed directly, together with a open bar, where you can help yourself. A nice living area, with pooltable give you an extra homecoming feeling. Many good restaurants are close by. Don't forget to stroll down by the river 😉

Several restaurants, hotels and a bar in a small village...

Several restaurants, hotels and a bar in a small village serving amazing food. It is possible to walk to the wineries at Haro if you are reasonable fit and the foot bridge is open. The roads are fairly quiet and getting around by car is easy . Public transport is very limited. Taxis are busy at night time. There are no shops in the village but there is a large supermarket at Haro.

Briñas is a very small town (just 200 inhabitants, where there are no shops but it has a couple of fairly good restaurants). It is old with many emblazoned houses and is on the eastern side of the Ebro River. Very quiet.

The village is very steep, which gives it a unique charm.

The village is very steep, which gives it a unique charm. I travel with my dog, and I must admit that being able to let him off-leash so he can run freely along the riverbank is a real bonus.

A dreamlike village with a beautifully preserved old town,...

A dreamlike village with a beautifully preserved old town, stone houses, wineries, and more... all on the banks of the Ebro River. Just a stone's throw from Haro, yet with the tranquility of a small town and plenty of options for lunch and dinner.

Brinas is a charming little town on the Ebro River, situated in a beautiful landscape. The town has a venerable, historic feel and is very picturesque. The local restaurants are very welcoming and offer delicious food and, of course, good wine. You can even walk along the river to Haro, where you can enjoy the wine region and have a nice meal in the evening.

The welcome was very cordial, in the style of a pilgrim hostel. The old village is typical, with a beautiful church, and the view of the Ebro River and the vineyards and wineries is lovely. The hotel was comfortable. Dogs were graciously accepted! A beautiful stopover. Dinner was more complicated, though, as there was no restaurant. The other hotel in the village was full and didn't accept non-residents.

Beautiful location in a quiet village (or was in early March). The hotel’s renovations have been done exceptionally well. My sister was in a room with two small dogs - they loved the river walk in front of the hotel. The scenery around the village is stunning. We had a fantastic dinner in the restaurant (lovely relaxing decor) after a couple of glasses of wine in the bar. It was a regret we were driving back to the UK and not on a holiday to explore the area properly.

My friend stayed at the hotel in November 2024 and we decided to use it as our base for the EUFA League final in Bilbao. The village is small & quant and local to the Rioja Bodegas in Haro. We left early in the morning (before breakfast) and the hotel staff left a breakfast packed lunch for us.
