Extremely well equipped and clean apartment in an excellent location 5 mins walk to the beach in Calahonda. Apartment is very spacious with comfortable beds and 2 bathrooms, very useful for the 5 of us. We were met on arrival by Sandra who let us into the apartment and sent me some tips of where to visit. The on-site secure parking was also a godsend. Will definitely be staying again!

The apartment is amazing. Two very comfortable beds. The kitchen is very well equipped. There's nothing else you could want for and there is more than enough cutlery and crockery wine glasses, tea towels, washing powder, towels. Everything is is as should be in an holiday rental property. If I had to give it a score out of 10 I would give it would be 15. I definitely recommend, the view outside on the balcony is the beach. It's beautiful. Sun comes up in the morning on this side looking over the beach and goes down over the back. Plenty of security. I cannot praise this accommodation enough. Bathroom is amazing and showers are very good. Good water pressure they even provide a hair dryer and straighteners. There's no aircon, but there are fans in the bedrooms on the ceilings. Lovely stay. Thank you very much for letting us stay at your lovely apartment. It is 80% Spanish and only 20% tourism. People stay out late. Beach is packed till midnight. There are not many places around to get breakfast so you would be self-catering. Things don't really open till about 10:00 in the morning.

Amazing! I found this place looking for somewhere cheap to stay while my son attended an athletic camp in Sierra Nevada, and no other place could have been better! First , the owners: Javi and Maria are so kind and so Spanish in the way they treat their guests that I felt at home from the very first moment I arrived. As they knew I would be staying for quite a long time compared to other guests, they reserved me the room with the fridge and microwave. The room was very clean and tidy. There is also a shared kitchen with a fridge and microwave and all you would need to cook yourself whatever you want. But what I would suggest is to grab something from the bar . Maria is a great cook as well! The prices are super fair! And even if you don't have the intention to eat anything from the bar, but you just order a drink, you will surely end up eating a tapa (offered with the drink)! So kind of them! The bathroom was shared , but I never had to wait a second for it, and it was always clean . The village is a little gem in the middle of nowhere . The view is amazing ; you might end up meeting an old man walking down the narrow streets with his horse, and everyone is so warmly Spanish that after a couple of days, they would just say "ciao, Italiana. " Actually, the beautiful beaches of Costa Tropical are only a 15-minute drive away, so it is well worth staying here instead of in a dodgy hotel down by the seaside. I loved this place , and I would recommend it to all of my friends and definitely come back next year.

Calahonda is a peaceful location.

Calahonda is a peaceful location. Many locals and holiday homes. Typically Spanish. Although coming out of Covid times and possibly slightly out of tourist season, there were many bars and restaurants in the town that were not open. However, still enough for us to find some good food and drinks - and some incredible tapas included with drinks. Lovely beachfront. The location was perfect for us - but to be aware it is a small and not overly touristy area, best for total relaxation. Don't let the polytunnels put you off as you drive down from the main road, before heading into Calahonda town itself, as once in the town you are unable to see them.

A quiet coastal area with good transport links. My only complaint is that it's surrounded by greenhouses, but that's understandable given the location and didn't affect our stay at all.

I knew Calahonda from my teenage years and after 25 years I was really looking forward to returning. It's a shame the apartment and the host spoiled the few days we were there. But the town itself is still worth visiting.

For beach lovers.

For beach lovers. Warning: they're not sand, they're pebbles, but you get used to it, or you can wear walking shoes and you won't even notice. And when you get home, you won't be carrying around a ton of sand.

Beautiful.

Beautiful. Peaceful, yet with a lively atmosphere, great food, a lovely beach, charming little houses, and it retains its old-world charm because it's not overcrowded. It's a pleasure to stroll around at night. Motril, Salobreña, etc., are very close by. There's a dog-friendly beach in Motril (Playa del Cable), the only one in all of Granada. Highly recommended.

It's my favorite place to go, to swim almost alone and eat grilled local fish, which changes depending on what's available. I love being able to park easily and take long walks between two seas: the sea of water and the sea of plastic.

Perfectly well equipped and comfortable, clean flat. right near the beach, absolutely perfect. we went in October and enjoyed having the beach mainly to ourselves. lovely clean sea and mixed shingle and sand beach. the accommodation was perfect, host let us in early and let us check out a bit late. we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back. Great location to visit other places as well and a short walk up to calahonda where shops are. Loved it.

The hotel is clean and well run . My room was a fair size with good wardrobe space and efficient air con. The windows faced an internal area but I think probably quieter than those on the road . I had good tapas at the bar and an excellent menu del dia in the restaurant .less than 5 mins to the beach
