The apartment was just perfect, it had everything that you need. The host was so friendly and accommodating. We were travelling between France and Spain and I recommend as a stop enroute. Really nice small village that you can relax and enjoy. Lots of restaurants and bars to choose from. Fantastic scenery. Shame we had to move on, as the walks must be amazing! The garage is a real bonus! Thank you!

This was third time I have stayed there and it was great again, I was staying alone, but had a huge room with a nice view of the slopes, bathroom was also really spacious and etc, again great room, breakfast was really good, not thousand of options, but a lot and food is very tasty, I have stayed in many 4 star hotels which had worse breakfast. Staff was again very helpful and friendly and my friend had birthday for example and they made him a small cake on the house in the bar (which is also pretty good) so that was nice gesture and the location of the hotel is great, its just few meters to a slope which is perfect. Its really great value for money this hotel, big comfortable rooms, good breakfast and amazing location for very good price, I will return for sure as I have been doing for 3 years now and I'll make sure to show it on my YouTube channel as well.

Liked the facility remodel; the grounds; the staff!

Liked the facility remodel; the grounds; the staff! Disliked the slow dining room and the lack of open hours for dining. Opening at 8PM is fine for Europeans, but not for others of us. There were no opportunities to purchase books, cards, historical videos, etc about the Station and the Railway lines. Surely, this is a huge faux pas on the part of management!

A pretty little town in the Pyrenees.

A pretty little town in the Pyrenees. Good local amenities, eg supermarket that stayed open late, little shops, bars, and restaurants although we mainly did our own cooking in our appartment. Immediate walking from Canfranc Estacion would be difficult as it's in a steep sided valley, but a short drive to Astun takes you to the base of chairlifts which whisk you up into the glorious mountains and access to hiking paths at the top- really lovely. Visitors might enjoy the sheep and mini horses with bells around their necks- quite a surreal sound!

Great location and stunning scenery,hotel was very nice and the staff exceeded expectations.There was plenty of free parking and the food was reasonable priced and good quality.....I would most definitely recommend this hotel to any travellers.

It is a must see.

It is a must see. The hotel is beautiful, the staff is very attentive to every detail. Wonderful food. A must do. They have a 21 course menu degustacion that will leave an incredible impression. The churro stand right outside is also wonderful! We have loved it

Canfranc Estacion is a nice little town with lots to do if...

Canfranc Estacion is a nice little town with lots to do if you like activities such as hiking, walks, exploring rural and mountain locations. We liked the local restaurants for evening meals and coffees. The main attraction - Old Station is a fascinating structure, it feels almost a live creature. Recommend the Station (which is now a 5* hotel) bar for coffee and drinks (overpriced, but worth the experience) , the restaurant is available for lunches - great cuisine and service.

The town itself is nothing much and was disappointing from...

The town itself is nothing much and was disappointing from the shopping/cafe/restaurant perspective. However it is dominated by a truly spectacular and magnificent former railway station which has very recently been converted into a very comfortable hotel. The real attractions of Canfranc -Estacion are the mountains that are very close by. We were there in summer so did not see them in all their majesty but we did see where the ski runs went. Some truly great runs. We did do some short trail walks as we only had limited time but we did see others who were equipped for some serious climbing. It really is a year round resort.

A fantastic experience, two night stay in this luxury hotel, a breathtaking location, staff wonderful throughout & cheerful upon arrival, especially service in the Michelin star authentic railway carriage, food exceptional, where we had one evening meal (the other in the International restaurant). We arranged a tour of the hotel to delve into its history & surroundings & our guide Maria was excellent & made it so interesting.

The apartment suited us perfectly - living room, bedrooms, kitchen, bathroom and parking space were all very comfortable and pleasant to use. The location was perfect for us providing quick access to walks, restaurants, shop and the main attraction - Train Station, nowadays- the Hideaway Hotel and the Aragon River. We stayed as a family of 4 adults and a dog.

Beautiful hotel right in the heart of the mountains. Amazing scenery from the bedroom window. Unusual rustic decor throughout which fitted with the environment. Very good breakfasts. The breakfast staff worked hard to ensure it was always replenished. Miki on reception was always friendly and very helpful assisting us with information on hiking routes.

A lovely family run hotel, not fancy but clean and friendly with great service so for the price is highly recommended. We used it for a stop over on our journey back home to Spain. Lots of parking available publicly free and nearby. Lovely views of the mountains and the station.
