Very attractive but pricey stopover in this secluded village. (I understand it is much busier in season). Basic accommodation in a surprising colour scheme. The underground parking was a bonus, but not for a car much larger than mine. There was a coach party staying so I avoided dining in the hotel. Breakfast was excellent but extra.

We've been to Huetre via Caseres, the people are very friendly and the surroundings are beautiful, although the road can be tricky sometimes if you're not an expert... but that's the same in any mountain region.

Everything was wonderful.

Everything was wonderful. A spacious house with all the amenities. Beautiful views. Barbecue area and swimming pool. In our case, the weather wasn't great, but the host offered us the pool, and even though it was early June, it was ready for use.

The area is ideal for disconnecting and enjoying nature.

The area is ideal for disconnecting and enjoying nature. The hiking trails are fantastic and of all kinds. The locals are lovely and very attentive. The food is simple but very tasty. There aren't many options and few services, but the rugged and stunning landscape more than makes up for it.

What I liked most was the area, the landscapes, everything we saw was spectacular. As for the apartment, I'm sorry, I don't recommend it because it's not as described. What we really loved was the Mirador de la Pregonera viewpoint; it's spectacular, as is the Peña de Francia. And a must-see is Mestas, where the honey is made.

These are fantastic apartments.

These are fantastic apartments. They have everything you need and are very welcoming. The location is spectacular and we couldn't find a single fault. Plus, you can bring your pet, which is very important for those of us with animals. Thank you so much 😊

I think it's an area with a lot of potential and it's not...

I think it's an area with a lot of potential and it's not too crowded yet. Perfect for hiking with the family and young children (6-7 years old). The best time to visit is probably autumn and spring; I've been in winter and it was fine, no problem at all. It might be too hot in summer.
