This hotel was right on our cycling route, and they were able to store our bikes in a safe location. Our room was large and very clean. Great shower and being on the second floor not much noise from the bar below. A coffee, fruit juice, and bread with ham and cheese for breakfast.

Traditional Spanish breakfast and dinner (served 9pm) available. Location as central as it gets, which meant either a careful car trip through the narrow ancient streets (Chelsea Tractors a no-no). Secure parking never a problem in the main square just 20m away, or a climb up the 60 steps from the main road, all the keep-fit one could ask for. Panoramic views from the street 30m south from the Casa; seats and fountain provided, sun-trap par excellence. English spoken by hosts and WiFi in all rooms.

We love the remoteness of the place.. So quiet and peaceful, nice walks, there is a bar in the Hostel and you can book an evening meal.. Our host was absolutely lovely, no English spoken but we managed with Translation on our phones... Typical Spanish village, church very close with a bell that goes off a lot on the hour, so if you can't tolerate that then possibly not for you... Breakfast was minimal and not served until 9am at weekends, so our host who lives in the next village gave us some bread, Jams and butter to take to our room the night before as we had a kettle and milk... And we left early and locked up...

Although it's a small village, it has a lively atmosphere in...

Although it's a small village, it has a lively atmosphere in the summer. We don't know if it's the same in winter, as we visited in the summer. The location is excellent for nature walks and getting away from it all. A highly recommended destination; we stayed at Casa Rural Los Garridos and it was excellent.

The people there are very friendly, and the places are...

The people there are very friendly, and the places are beautiful to visit, especially for those who enjoy hiking in the cool breeze, as you walk along the path that follows the riverbed. 👍 The food at the rural guesthouse was spectacular! 😜 I highly recommend it.
