This by far was one of the most beautiful apartments I've ever rented (out of 100s) Every detail was perfect. It's elegantly decorated and very clean and comfortable. It's just a two minute walk to the beach, and a supermarket less than a 5 minute walk. The host is very kind and helpful.

We had a wonderful stay at Apartamento Joanna Playa during our trip through southern Spain. The apartment may be small, but it’s incredibly well-organized, and you can feel the host’s thoughtful care and attention to detail throughout. It had everything we needed for a comfortable stay, and we were truly impressed by how clean and well-maintained everything was. The host was exceptionally kind and helpful—responsive, welcoming, and genuinely committed to making our stay a pleasant one. It made a huge difference and made us feel right at home. That said, once we settled in, everything else was smooth and relaxing. The apartment’s location near the beach was perfect for enjoying the coast, and the overall experience was excellent. Definitely a recommended stay for those looking for a peaceful and well-managed base near the sea!

Amazing! I found this place looking for somewhere cheap to stay while my son attended an athletic camp in Sierra Nevada, and no other place could have been better! First , the owners: Javi and Maria are so kind and so Spanish in the way they treat their guests that I felt at home from the very first moment I arrived. As they knew I would be staying for quite a long time compared to other guests, they reserved me the room with the fridge and microwave. The room was very clean and tidy. There is also a shared kitchen with a fridge and microwave and all you would need to cook yourself whatever you want. But what I would suggest is to grab something from the bar . Maria is a great cook as well! The prices are super fair! And even if you don't have the intention to eat anything from the bar, but you just order a drink, you will surely end up eating a tapa (offered with the drink)! So kind of them! The bathroom was shared , but I never had to wait a second for it, and it was always clean . The village is a little gem in the middle of nowhere . The view is amazing ; you might end up meeting an old man walking down the narrow streets with his horse, and everyone is so warmly Spanish that after a couple of days, they would just say "ciao, Italiana. " Actually, the beautiful beaches of Costa Tropical are only a 15-minute drive away, so it is well worth staying here instead of in a dodgy hotel down by the seaside. I loved this place , and I would recommend it to all of my friends and definitely come back next year.
