Fantastic, atmospheric, beautifully restored and renovated building. Absolutely spectacular! The rooms are beautifully decorated, spacious and the beds are really comfortable. There is a bar fridge which is convenient and there were 2 complementary bottles of water. The bathrooms are brand new and sparkling clean (as was the room). The location is great, in a charming village in the Duormo valley. Good access to other villages, wineries etc.

El Lagar de Isilla is an exclusive hotel, set in the winery of the same name. Aimed especially at wine lovers, it features wine-making themed décor like barrel tables.

Our eighth visit to this hotel on our way down and back from Southern Spain. On our return journey this year we had a wonderful room with a free standing bath. Every room here is a delight and a surprise. Comfortable lounge area and a cosy bar. Breakfast is great too.

The vibe of the whole place is inspiring and full of warmth and life. It is really quiet, cozy and laid-back. Also, you can feel and see the amount of work that has gone into creating this place and the food! We had dinner there and LOVED it! Definitely recommended!
