It is difficult to say what we did like of Casa Rural Alfoz because everything was extraordinary. It is not an exaggeration to say that we loved absolutely everything of this charming place. The decor is exceptional, there are so many details, the furnishing is adorable. It is very groovy and makes you feel at home as soon as you pass the front door and enter the small dreamy inner courtyard. And one of the most amazing things is to feel so welcomed: there is a selection of coffee pods, muffins and jam for breakfast and it is possible to listen to jazz vinyl which adds magic to the atmosphere . Check-in was also smooth and there is an easy parking in front of the house. What else to say, 10/10, really deserved.

The house was spotlessly clean and the decor was great. Gustavo was very helpful and easy to deal with. Breakfast was a nice touch. A great place to stop en route south from Santander ferry port.

We stayed here for one night to break a long journey with our small dog. The accommodation provided everything we needed and communication from the host Gustavo was excellent. We had read the other positive reviews of this accommodation and wondered if it would live up to expectations. We were not in any way disappointed. It’s no exaggeration to say that this is no ordinary accommodation but an interior design experience!. A space made with flair, care and consideration . It even made us laugh when our dog carefully avoided walking on the suspended glass floor!

Easy 15 min walk from bus station, this Hotel was in a beautiful location facing the park and tree lined street. The room was a comfortable size with an enclosed balcony. The bathroom had glass walls but etching and a curtain for privacy. The overhead rain shower was great and the bathroom was spacious. Only thing missing was tea/coffee facilities to enjoy a morning coffee looking out at the lovely view. The bed was very comfortable and there was plenty of hanging for clothes. It was close to many cafes and restaurants and walkable to the old part of the city and the beach area. The breakfast option looked amazing but we didn’t take it up. The little thank you gift of chocolates when we checked out was a lovely surprise.

The room is enormous and the beds are very comfortable, and I just loved falling asleep and waking up to the view of La Antigua. Even though the hotel is in the heart of the historical centre and we visited during the busy season, the room was really quite and peaceful. The shower is really spacious and the bathroom floor is heated, which was a very nice touch during our winter visit. The hotel's underground parking is 19.50 euros, which I feel is a standard price for hotels and is only 4-5 euros more expensive than the overnight parking nearby.
