I am delighted by the kindness of the reception staff; I don’t remember ever experiencing such warmth and hospitality anywhere else. They gave us recommendations for restaurants, offered help with anything during our stay, and even assisted us late at night with adjusting the air conditioning. Highly recommended!

Easy 15 min walk from bus station, this Hotel was in a beautiful location facing the park and tree lined street. The room was a comfortable size with an enclosed balcony. The bathroom had glass walls but etching and a curtain for privacy. The overhead rain shower was great and the bathroom was spacious. Only thing missing was tea/coffee facilities to enjoy a morning coffee looking out at the lovely view. The bed was very comfortable and there was plenty of hanging for clothes. It was close to many cafes and restaurants and walkable to the old part of the city and the beach area. The breakfast option looked amazing but we didn’t take it up. The little thank you gift of chocolates when we checked out was a lovely surprise.

The room is enormous and the beds are very comfortable, and I just loved falling asleep and waking up to the view of La Antigua. Even though the hotel is in the heart of the historical centre and we visited during the busy season, the room was really quite and peaceful. The shower is really spacious and the bathroom floor is heated, which was a very nice touch during our winter visit. The hotel's underground parking is 19.50 euros, which I feel is a standard price for hotels and is only 4-5 euros more expensive than the overnight parking nearby.

Booking in straight forward. Room clean and fresh, bathroom clean with nice fresh smelling soap/shampoo. Bed firm and comfortable , had a great sleep, bedding clean. Good size tv, much larger than most hotels offer. Breakfast was plentiful, well presented, everything was fresh. This is the second time staying whilst on my way to the Santander ferry and I highly recommend it.

It's a bit far from the city centre on foot, but it has a great atmosphere and is perfectly connected by buses; in fact, I was advised not to move the car and to travel by public transport, which was a good thing to do.

The photos don't match the room at all; it seems like a deception. They're not the same; they're very old, and the bathroom is too. The curtains, flooring, beds, and furniture are all outdated, but in the photos, it looks modern. I don't understand why they use different photos; that's misleading.

What I liked most were the beds; the sheets were super clean and well cared for. I also liked the mobile key system for accessing both the accommodation and the room. What I liked least was the bathroom... I think it could be improved with a fresh coat of paint and a soap dispenser, and towels too.

The owner was lovely and attentive to all our needs from the moment we booked. The place was nice, very spacious, but it didn't have a kitchen (which would have been useful for longer stays). It's ideal for large groups.

We asked for an extra hour so an athlete could shower at 12:30 after competing, even offering to pay extra, but they wouldn't allow it. That's the most deplorable and inhumane thing the reception and hotel staff can do.

I didn't have much of a chance to explore La Cistérniga...

I didn't have much of a chance to explore La Cistérniga because my accommodation there allowed me to easily visit the city of Valladolid, which is just a few minutes away by car. However, even though I hadn't been to La Cistérniga before, I found it to be a pleasant town with a great atmosphere and, above all, very well located in terms of transport links.

A good hostel for one night. The bed was comfortable and the temperature in the room could be adjusted. The toilet room is a bit small, but it's good for one night. We didn’t try the food in the restaurant (ground floor), but there were many visitors, probably delicious. The staff is very friendly, but does not speak English, used an interpreter. The city is small, there is a small problem with parking. But you can find a parking place a little further from the hotel. We were lucky and we took a place right next to the hotel.

The hotel was comfortable, clean and tidy with very friendly and helpful staff. The restaurant menu was quite acceptable and the terrace at the front of the hotel was a delight for spending a hour watching the world go by with an 'after-dinner' drink. Overall a good experience.

The hotel was fine and suited our requirements whilst travelling north. The hotel's restaurant provides a good value menu and the front terrace is very pleasant to relax with an after-dinner drink during less cold evenings.
