Very comfortable beds, large room with moder bathroom, very quiet place. The staff was friendly and extremely helpful when we had problems with the rental car. Loved everything about it - astonishingly beautiful architecture, superb location for those who want to get away from the bustle of the city and enjoy some nature, with some gorgeous hiking spots nearby. Super clean, beautifully and thoughtfully designed and the owner/people working there were all really nice and gave great advice whenever asked for sightseeing insight. The breakfast was really delicious too - fresh, natural ingredients and everything you might need from a European breakfast. Everything used in the hotel is of high quality too - the sheets, towels, soap, etc. Loved this place so much I can't wait to return.

The house is old, but nice and tastefully decorated. We liked how the owner placed old items through the house, even welcoming us through a typewriter. Beds are good and there is a lot of space in the apartment. Host is very attentive, we got detailed instructions prior to our arrival. There was even a small breakfast waiting for us. Recommended!

Collbato is a great base for hiking some of the quieter...

Collbato is a great base for hiking some of the quieter trails in Montserrat. We hiked to the monastery twice along different routes and got a taxi back. The village itself is very pretty and peaceful, although bear in mind that many of the restaurants may not be open if you visit mid-week outside the peak season. You can also get a bus from Collbato straight to the centre of Barcelona

It’s an odd hotel as in it doesn’t have any staff most of the time, one very important point DO NOT ARRIVE ON A SUNDAY, there is a marker and the road is blocked so you can’t actually get to the hotel, the second point, the owner is very personable but runs a separate restaurant at a different location- if he’s busy he can’t let you in to the hotel, i was kept waiting for over an hour.

The location of the property is perfect. In the heart of the old and very small town of Collbato. A great jumping off point for hiking in the area. The breakfast was hearty and the staff were very helpful. The room was clean and the pool looked lovely (didn’t try it).

The hotel room was very nice, clean, and had a lovely view. The breakfast was also very good, with a nice variety to choose from. The only thing missing was a kettle in the room, which would have made the stay even better.

Very nice older style hotel. Room was comfortable and we ate in the restaurant as we arrived late and the meal was quite good. They also provided free coffee and muffins as we checked out after breakfast.
