Very good food, good selection on menu despite being Oct & fewer tourists . Staff / owners / hosts extremely nice, kind, helpful, offered a different bedroom on other side of the hotel because the cattle had been moved to a field beside the hotel just before we arrived as they were concerned that the bells on the cattle would disturb our sleep - the cattle did not disturb us at all (even the light sleeper who wakes at almost everything). We were made to feel very welcome. Owners even lent us walking poles & refused our attempts to pay for the pole we damaged. Simply couldn’t have been better hosts. Stunning views of Picos de Europa. Peaceful, beautiful location. Would definitely stay here again & stay for longer. Exceeded expectations.

The accommodation was comfortable and the location was magnificent! We initially booked for two nights but extended to three. We caught the 8AM cable car then hiked the 14 km PR-PNPE24 trail back down to the hotel. Spectacular mountain scenery and beautiful autumn colours both close up and in the distance. The road from Potes to Fuente De was excellent.

A lovely little apartment in Espinama, just off the main road. Check-in was in the Hotel (blue building) and parking provided down the narrow lane and around the back of the red building/apartments. Lovely and quiet. A few options for eating out. But such a wonderful location. Espinama and most particularly the Picos de Europa - one of the most beautiful places I've seen in Spain. And Spain is obviously abundant with amazing places! :-)

We very much enjoyed our stay at the property. It was very comfortable, clean, well appointed and within easy walking distance to everything in Potes. The view from the lounge was beautiful and it was lovely being able to sit & watch the changing light on the mountains.

Absolutely beautiful property, a lot of care has gone into the refurbishment with beautiful details and furnishings. Well equipped. Amazing location in the old town, quiet but very close to all amenities and bars and restaurants. A wonderful host with great communication who was so helpful. Would thoroughly recommend this beautiful property.

very nice well equiped and very clean apartament, in a quiet neighbourhood, in a small village Turieno, just next to Potes, great mointain view from all windows; the host Javier was very nice and helpful with tips regarding must see places around and nice places to eat; good base fo ferratas and treks in Picos the Europa area

The location is fine for an overnight stay.

The location is fine for an overnight stay. I wouldn't recommend it for longer stays. While it's true there are restaurants, charming villages, and beautiful hiking trails nearby, the bathroom was spacious but a bit far away and the temperature was cold, which is uncomfortable for showering in winter. However, it was private.

The ground-floor apartment was well-equipped for two people. The beds were comfortable, the living area was good and well-equipped, including a washing machine and a dishwasher. Only the small stovetop with two burners was a bit small. The hostess was very helpful and friendly. All in all, we had a wonderful week.

It is a quiet place, very close to Potes and Fuente Dé,...

It is a quiet place, very close to Potes and Fuente Dé, suitable for those who like hiking, mountaineering and/or climbing; you have the opportunity to visit pomace wineries and cheese factories with guided tours, as well as visits to hermitages and monasteries.

Very quiet village in February.

Very quiet village in February. Many houses have been renovated and are very tastefully decorated. The street where the Haya apartments used to be is now paved. There is a taxi service in Espinama. A few bars are open in Espinama with wooden tables facing the afternoon sun.

Our hostess was such a kind woman! Appartement was so neat and clean, it really felt like a home. Cosgaya is a very small village, but shops and facilities are close in nearby village of Potes. So ideal for one who wants to stay at a quiet and peacefull place.

We spent some amazing days in Cosgaya. The El Haya is very clean and cozy. Miguel is the best host and is always available for any help with the apartment or advice on activities/sights in the area. We had amazing views from the 1st floor apartment.
