This is a very quiet village and a really nice place to stay, the historic farm house has been made into a lovely place, with Kitchen, living area shower and bed on a mezzanine platform . A really clean and well presented property and friendly helpful host.

This is a fabulous small hotel, a home for over 300 years which still retains all it’s traditional features. It is like stepping back in time into a previous era. The staff are friendly, there is secure parking and it is perfectly positioned for exploring Astorga, an easily walkable town, to view all the sights of which there are many. I rested so well before I continue my Camino . I will remember room 308 😊😊. The staff at the reception was so helpful , not only she get me a reliable cab , she also wished me and my sister well plus a great great surprised chocolates handed to me at my room because it was my birthday . Her name is Eleanor ( if I understood her correctly) , a pretty lady with long pleated hair . She is the one that made me felt at home 😊😊

"0ld Charm" property but absolutely up to date. Located in the historical city centre, Plaza Espana, with a magic view from the hotel balcony on the Plaza and the adjacent historical Aiuntamiento building. Hotel located a short walk from the two most important landmarks in Astorga (Cathedral & Gaudi-designed Episcopal Palace) &, if you fancy, another 5 min walk to Astorga's chocolate museum. Superb & very attentive hotel staff, all speaking English ( the latter so much missing in the Spanish hospitality industry) if your Spanish is non- existent or rusty. Also at the Plaza there are always some bars open during that notorious 2 - 5 pm Spanish siesta shut- down.
