Very convenient for travelers: bus to Bilbao right in front of the hotel; hotel has its own restaurant + local cafes cross the road, supermarket next door Our room is not big but functional & spotless, bed is very comfortable, bath towels are of high quality. Luruna Palacio has its own secured car park which is not always the case in Spain. Above all, the staff of this hotel are exceptional. Our big thanks to the lovely Itsasu. She’s often above and beyond her duty helping her guests, she’s a real asset to the hotel. Itsasu made our stay extra special. Big kisses & hugs from Australia :)

Perfect location overlooking a lovely beach. The deluxe room was worth the extra cost. It was large and comfortable with tea and coffee making facilities which we had not found in any of the other hotels we stayed in for our tour of northern Spain. The balcony and beach view were perfect. The breakfast was delicious with a wide range of food to choose from. We also had lunch on the terrace and dinner in the cafe/restaurant. Good choice of menu at reasonable prices and even written in English. The staff were friendly and helpful. There was plenty of parking and although expensive it was similar in other hotels.

The team in the hotel and the owner were gentle, lovely and supportive people. The breakfast was delicious and included the possibility to have plant milk that is often difficult with allergies. Gluten free cereal was also available. We also order a parking space for our car. In the evening the hotel also offered a pizza kitxhen and in the afternoon ice cream, so that all of our needs were catered for. Being right near the main city square, we also were able to participate in the local markets, folkloric entertainment, and other music fetes. By the time we left, we felt that we were almost locals.
