It's a welcoming town, the people are very friendly and hospitable. The food is excellent and plentiful. The wine is superb. There are many hiking trails and a variety of interesting places to visit. Highly recommended.

It's a town that surprised us immensely.

It's a town that surprised us immensely. We only stayed overnight while passing through, but we found it beautiful, with a vibrant atmosphere and plenty of leisure activities. It also has many green spaces and a river beach. There are also mountain trails; it has everything.

Breakfast is far from being a continental breakfast.

Breakfast is far from being a continental breakfast. The spa option wasn't available because they were closed. The entrance to the hotel towards Ponferrada is a bit tricky; if you're not careful, it forces you to turn around several kilometers from the accommodation.

A wonderful place, both the scenery and the food, the friendliness of the people, and the professionalism of the hospitality staff. I recommend the Hotel Malecón for accommodation, and all the restaurants I visited were very good, but Casa Galaica deserves a special mention—it was a 10 out of 10.

Really good location. The hotel is modern and really nice. The town is lovely and there is a nice river with places to swim and picnic. A lovely place for a couple of nights. We stayed with our dog and would recommend to book the room with disabled facilities as it is a good size and allows access to the roof terrace, it's perfect.

Excellent location, close to a wide range of bars and restaurants. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. The staff are very friendly and helpful. This is our second stay here, and we would definitely recommend this hotel.
