Boutique hotel, recently opened. Colonial style building w high ceilings and wooden floor. Vallehermoso is a tiny village (beautiful), great location for visiting the Garajonay park and surroundings. The hotel is Beautiful recently opened so very fresh. Allow pets❤️ (no issues for non-pet owners when I was there). Very clean. Quiet (after midnight- 100% quiet). Has a good restaurant. Sturdy beds (no soft wobbliness) with great linen. No daily cleaning of rooms. Coffee machine. No fridge. Lovely views. Nice personnel (one of the waiters is actually a philosophy degree student who has interesting points of view on the life on the island). We thought great value for price. Thank you- and best of luck to the best lodging we had in La Gomera!

We recently had an unforgettable stay at this delightful country house. The serene quietness, impeccable cleanliness, and thoughtful amenities made it a perfect escape. The house is equipped with all necessary conveniences, including high-speed fiber internet. Its authentic country design and warm atmosphere created a homey feel. Parking was convenient, and the host's communication was excellent. Not to mention the breathtaking view of the surrounding mountains. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and can't wait to return! Highly recommended.

Beautiful view of a quiet valley. Nice spacious apartment. Enough hot water for at least two people to shower. Bring your own water/groceries - shopping is in vallehermoso. Well stocked kitchen with salt/oil for cooking - or at least someone had left some. Only 100m from the old GR132 trail, and connected to Vallehermoso and Agulo by trails. We took a taxi from Vallehermoso, and walked on to Agulo. Comfy couch and cozy tv night opportunity.

Nice small village famous for pottery.

Nice small village famous for pottery. Green part of the island with the downside that it is often foggy or inside clouds. I liked the character of the village and had a great view from above. Depending on your destinations few places are near and for going to the east and south-east it’s up to 1 hour drive - but La Gomera is so beautiful that every road trip is already an adventure and a sightseeing trip. Next mini-market is just a few minutes by car.

We had a very nice room, which had an electric fireplace...

We had a very nice room, which had an electric fireplace installed because we arrived drenched in rain. The hostess was incredibly friendly. We had a delicious dinner and a good breakfast. The bus stopped right outside. Due to the bad weather, we couldn't walk the surrounding area and took the bus back to the coast.

It's a quiet place, a small neighborhood, but it has some...

It's a quiet place, a small neighborhood, but it has some basic amenities for emergencies: a supermarket, a pharmacy, a bar, and a wine shop. It also offers easy access to the hiking trails of Garajonay National Park.

It was a bit difficult to figure out where to take the trash...

It was a bit difficult to figure out where to take the trash, but found a trash can a little way up the road. Great to sit at the local cafe and then they just come and throw a bunch of bananas on the table. Good luck.

Located in the heart of the island, at a high altitude (approx. 900m above sea level), it can get quite cold and wet (December...), but offers superb views and an absolutely peaceful setting. Fully equipped, everything worked perfectly; everything was spotless. El Cercado is about a 1km walk away, offering shopping and the Sonia bar-restaurant-hotel. A great starting point for hikes. Very friendly reception and service. Authentic, rural, and totally authentic – what more could you want...?

I decided to stay at this hotel because of its excellent reviews, and it certainly lived up to our expectations. We especially appreciated the friendly and attentive service from the owners/staff, the generous breakfast, the home-cooked meals, and the cleanliness. When people are passionate about their work, it shows. I would definitely recommend it.
