This place is highly recommended. We stayed at Churrut for 3 nights. The hotel has a very pleasant atmosphere, with a somewhat dated but very characteristic interior. The breakfast and the diners were of an excellent quality. The hotel staff proved very helpful in getting us the best room available. During our last night in the hotel we experienced a false fire alarm. To compensate us for this the hotel gave us a considerable reduction on the agreed tariff and costs for meals. The hotel staff is to be complemented for this!

Amazing location, at nighttime when its clear its amazing to watch the stars. A lot of cute newborn sheeps. And very comfortable beds. The host didnt speak a lot of english but is very kind and gave us a warm welcome :D hes kinda like the man Oaken in the store from the frozen movie.

convenient location for our trip. this is the second stay for us. Spotlessly clean. Rooms spacious, clean and comfortable with everything you could wish for. The beds are large and so comfortable- no complaints from my 6ft 3in husband! The food and service in the restaurant was second to none. Dog friendly and very accommodating for dog in the venue.

As stated in my review our stay was disappointing due to the electrics in our room although I requested room 209 the staff were aware of the problem before our arrival perhaps they would have been better offering us an alternative room it’s a shame as we travel to Spain twice a year and have used this hotel every time it is pleasant the scenery is fantastic and it’s very convenient when travelling from Brittany as it is half way I’m not sure if I will book it again

Etxalar is a small, picturesque, authentic town.

Etxalar is a small, picturesque, authentic town. Very beautiful. The farmhouses are large and stately, and the little-traveled roads that surround them are ideal for walking. Very close to the Baztan Valley, close to the Cantabrian coast, the Spanish and French Basque Country. There are very few places to have lunch and dinner, it is better to go to another nearby town to find a restaurant.

A very pretty, typical village with lots of greenery and a charming old-fashioned village clock. There's a truly traditional bakery, one of those old-fashioned ones! Visit Lesaka. The Mokorrea house is highly recommended, especially because of its owner, Kontxi. A 10 out of 10!

The town is small but very pretty, and well located for exploring the area. The food options are limited, but the restaurants we visited were very friendly and everything was delicious. There are several hiking trails that start from the town.

Hotel is located close to the main Pamplona road - convenient but you need to keep the windows closed. It is not close to the pretty Basque village of Etxalar (5kms), which is worth a visit. Plenty of parking. Rooms have recently been refurbished, spacious and comfortable but entirely characterless, with blank walls and bland decor.

The hotel itself is beautiful, with a lovely terrace and really fantastic rooms. But the star was the staff, who couldn't have been more helpful and kind. They were so good when we needed to stay an extra night, were caring and made sure we were ok when we left. Couldn't recommend more.
