The location is absolutely fantastic next to a really unique beach accessible through a walk through sand dunes and pine forest. Gorgeous. The interior decor of the main living space is very colourful and tasteful and the hammock and bbq area outside are a bonus. Very good for a warm or hot summer visit, particularly if you're a laid back sort of traveller and someone who enjoys camping.

The location was ideal — near so many cafes, restaurants, pharmacies, bakeries, laundromat, and the boats to the Cies. But the place itself was the best: so well decorated, thoughtfully laid out with a huge space to relax and cook, and really clean, modern rooms. I appreciated the amenities provided and the towel warmer and the terrace onto the street. Also very easy to check in and out with good communication from the staff over Booking.

We spent 2 days in Donon, which is wonderful for it's...

We spent 2 days in Donon, which is wonderful for it's scenery...... On one of our days when the weather was a little cooler, we did a lovely walk taking in the 3 lighthouses, and Melide beach, through gorgeous countryside. On the warm days we spent our time on Barra beach, a fabulous naturist beach, very family orientated and catering for all ages, so yes I would go again!!!

Hío is a small village belonging to Cangas.

Hío is a small village belonging to Cangas. Both Hío and Aldán are located in a dreamlike setting at the foot of Mount Facho. It boasts idyllic beaches and offers ample amenities for a comfortable stay. It saddens me that it's become so touristy and that we're overwhelming the locals, especially in the summer.

A peaceful, rural area with a rolling coastline, small beaches, and unobstructed views of the sea and the nearby estuary. At Café Bar Stop, be sure to try the octopus dish with salad. A true delight!

The goal was to go to the beach, and by the first week of September, summer is already considered over, so many places are already closed. The weather is also more unstable, with good days but also very rainy days. The ideal time to go is July/August.

It has some beautiful beaches, although the water is freezing. Our favorite was Praia Castiñeiras, and next to it is another very small but also very beautiful beach. Our favorite restaurant was Chinchorro, in Aldán.

Definitely a 10 for value. Morning breakfast provided, relaxing. Family owned business. Lovely specialty restaurant with hotel business. Parking available. My husband & I are walkers and didn’t mind walking into the fishing village via community roads which passed by lovely stone walled gardens.
