Hospitalet de l'Infant is a lovely resort, ideal for couples and familes. There are ample bars and restaurants. There are a few nice restaurants by the marina but we preferred to find the local Spanish Tapas bars. We ate at Bar Mediterrani, the food was excellent, reasonably priced and the staff were really friendly. There is a good bus service and we got the bus into Tarragona, beautiful Roman city with lots of sights and fabulous architecture

It is a lovely place if you want peace and quiet.

It is a lovely place if you want peace and quiet. There are a few restaurants but not much more. The beach is magic and the coastal walking is very nice. Not a place for partying, but quietness, relaxation and exercise. Very clean and very safe.

The town is clean, free of litter, cans, etc., indicating a good level of civic responsibility among its residents and visitors. The public parking areas are adequate and open to the public, unlike in other towns where paid parking is the primary revenue generator.

Friendly service from the lady running the hotel. English not spoken, but of course it is not in England and I got to practice my french with her instead ☺️ I was proactively offered a bottle of water each time I went out, a beach chair when heading for the beach, and some coffee and pastries before leaving in the morning (I had not pre-booked breakfast). The room was clean and comfortable, I slept very well (once a loud TV had been turned off upstairs around 22:00).

I first stayed at Hotel Vistamar in 2017, so this was my second stay on HB basis. The location is nice practically on the beach, room was of a good size and had a decent side sea view. Breakfast and dinner buffets quality wasn't anything out this world, but they were acceptable, especially considering the price paid. You cannot pay the price of a Toyota and expect a Ferrari. Interactions with the front desk were always nice and friendly so with the other hotel staff.

Its location is excellent for the beach and the restaurants at the marina. We had a front sea view room which had a great view. There’s a small fridge which is handy for chilling water etc. Their pizza and sangria is really good and the marinera sauce with the mussels is amongst the best I’ve had. It’s a lovely, traditional Spanish hotel with friendly staff which is a great place to stay for some time by the sea.

The hotel is superb, very clean, with air conditioning. The lady at the reception is exceptional – she helped me a lot. Good Breakfast The beaches are very close and stunning.There are shops very close to the hotel, and larger stores like Lidl and Mercadona are about a 20-minute walk away.
