I had a great stay at DreamSea by BahiaMarCanarias. The apartment was spotless, tastefully decorated just like in the photos, and attention to detail was clearly a priority. Everything felt welcoming and well thought-out. Communication with the host was easy — we were even able to check in a bit earlier, which was a big plus. The area is peaceful and quiet, perfect for relaxing. The nearby beach is mostly frequented by locals, which makes it feel more authentic. It’s clean, natural, and very beautiful — not too crowded, which we really appreciated. Would definitely recommend this place and would love to come back!

Spacious, immaculately clean, and recently renovated. Karen was an excellent communicator and yet we felt very private in our apartment. Value / quality ratio was top notch. We loved our three nights here, which passed without a hitch.

La Estrella is a residential area not a tourist area it has...

La Estrella is a residential area not a tourist area it has a massive center commercial which a-has a huge Alcampo and various eateries within walking distance, 900m from the apartment and it is relatively flat and accessible to pedestrians as well as vehicles. The Line one bus link to Las Palmas from the main road runs every 20 minutes and costs 2 euros and takes about 22 minutes. You can also go the opposite direction as far as Puerta de Mogan but this take 2-2.5 hours depending on traffic and time of day, There are also other buses from same stop including one that calls at the airport.

had all we needed for 2 night stay. easy to find. key safe...

had all we needed for 2 night stay. easy to find. key safe worked well. door from street to patio area very difficult to open/close, handle to pull or push would of helped. no curtains to main window but this wasn't a problem for us. loved the patio area. could walk to nearest beach but this was closed due to work taking place on the wall and paths.

The beach promenade was good.

The beach promenade was good. However, the cityscape was littered with trash and unused, littered lots. Many buildings are in dire need of renovation and detract from the city's appearance. Other places we visited that are worth seeing include Agüimes, Terror, Tejeda, and Las Palmas. On the plus side, there are bus connections in all directions.

We came from another hotel in Maspalomas.

We came from another hotel in Maspalomas. Since our flight wasn't for another two days, we booked this apartment for an additional two days. Having a rental car was fantastic; we were able to see a lot more of the island.

It's the newest side of the island; everything is built up...

It's the newest side of the island; everything is built up with holiday homes, nothing but apartment complexes. It used to be a bit smaller. But actually, the entire island along the coast is full of apartments for holidaymakers. If you want to experience some culture, you have to go inland.

Erstella doesn't have much to offer compared to other parts...

Erstella doesn't have much to offer compared to other parts of the island. Few restaurants, and the area where we were somewhat neglected. Lots of dog poop. However, the breaking waves were beautiful to watch. There are surfers.
