The location on the cathedral square cannot be better. The hotel is in an expertly adapted and renovated fine historic building with a remarkable Art Nouveau façade, perfectly maintained. Spacious, nicely appointed, immaculately clean rooms. The front rooms command a great view on the square and cathedral. Breakfast was fine, a good choice of tasty food served in a charming interior - feels almost like being a guest in a family house.

The staff was amazing and friendly. The rooftop bar was the best place to hang out and work from in the evenings. The location is 4mins away from the beach and close to all the restaurants and bars. There is a taxi rank close to the hotel too if you want to travel the city by taxi. Rooms were cleaned to a high standard and had a japanese toilet which was a life changer. We had a fridge in our room to store bottles of water and kept them very cold. Will definitely consider this hotel again if I were to ever return to Las Palmas.

Poemas restaurant was the best meal of our lives. I really enjoyed the thermal hydrotherapy circuit and our spa treatments. We came to GC specifically to come to the hotel after being inspired by Agatha Christie. Little did we know that she actually stayed at the hotel!! Everything was amazing.

Great place to base yourself in the old part of Las Palmas. Comfortable bed and the room was spotless. The ensuite was wonderful, with a big walk-in shower. The food was exceptional, and breakfast was fabulous, so fresh and tasty, with a choice of sweet and savoury options. The staff are very friendly and helpful. They even kept our luggage on the last day while we went to Poema Del Mar for the afternoon. A rare find! Highly recommended.

Elena, both mother and daughter hosts, were most welcoming and very pleasant. Lovely relaxed atmosphere, gardens and terraces where a welcome relief from the hot sun. Very quiet street , both day and night, lovely sleep. An electric kettle was requested so we could make cups of tea on our terrace, this was provided along with tea bags and sweets , adding to the host going the extra mile to accommodate us. Communications by What's up worked every time, so no issues in both checking in and checking out. Constant hot water when showering, TV first class, room deco lovely, room security safe easy to operate and free. We felt very secure in this family hotel, and its very close to both GueGuas yellow bus stops, and the blue Global bus stops. Lovely area with plenty of good local shops, restaurants, cafes, and supermarkets within 10minute walk. Now we’ve found this little gem, it will be our 1st choice to book, when visiting Las Palmas again. Marvellous ❤️

Everything, from all the small details to how clean and comfortable it was. Location is excellent as you have multiple bars and restaurants on your door step. All the staff were so helpful, from the housekeepers to the reception staff. Colourful Capital of Sun and Shopping

The Gran Canaria capital, Las Palmas offers everything that the Canaries stand for: year-round sun, fantastic beaches and great nightlife. However, the largest city of this volcanic island group is more than just a beach resort - its mix of traditional and modern makes it stand out from the crowd.

Colourful Colonial façades line Calle Triana, a top shopping street, while the out-of-town Las Arenas shopping complex is much more contemporary in design. The El Muelle shopping centre is near Parque Santa Catalina and the surrounding restaurants, bars and clubs are focal points of Las Palmas nightlife, together with the historic Vegueta district.

Vegueta is also home to Santa Ana cathedral, best viewed from the palm-lined square which houses the Canary Island Museum. Around the corner is the Casa Museo de Colón, where Columbus stayed en route to America. No doubt he sailed from huge Puerto de la Luz whose numerous vessels are guarded by a lighthouse and stone castle.

On the opposite side of the promontory is long Las Canteras beach, lined by a promenade providing great mountain views in both directions. The 5-star hotels by the beach are just some of Booking.com’s Las Palmas accommodation options, alongside cheap guest houses and apartments, all linked by coastal road to Gran Canaria Airport.

The area...on the beach...was perfect for our family reunion. We ran the gamit from grandparents 83 and 86 to grandchildren 1. 3. 5, 7, 13, 15, and 22. A total of 15. There was something for everyone to do; it didn' t hurt that there was a playground across the malecon.

I stayed at Veintiuno Las Palmas during my solo trip to Gran Canaria and it was one of the most relaxing and stylish places to stay. Its a small design-focused boutique hotel and you really feel that attention to detail from the moment you step in. The staff was friendly, welcoming, discreet and professional. They really make you feel looked after. I had a room that faced the front of the hotel with a small balcony. It was lovely to open and look across to the Cathedral. I was able to watch the sunrise and sunset. I loved that breakfast was included. There was a limited selection of savory and sweet, but the food itself was delicious - you could have one of each option. The small, intimate rooftop pool was exactly what I needed after a day of exploring. Due to location, there was no on-site parking, however they have an agreement with a particular parking lot, which works out 12 euros daily. Overall it is ideal for solo travelers or couples who value peace and thoughtful design.

It's a city so not always pretty though the old town is well worth a visit to see some nice architecture and find out more about the history. The city itself is mostly flat so easy to explore on foot. Lots of good shopping, including the usual array of designer label shops, and lots of great cafes. Eating and drinking out are very reasonable compared to London and the England in general. I never felt ripped off. The Las Canteras Playa has a very long sea front which is packed with restaurants, bars and cafes. it is always lively and great for stretching your legs. Weather in early October was mid twenties, warm dry sometimes sunny, sometimes overcast but always nice and warm.

Las Palmas, as the Capital of Gran Canarias is a large city...

Las Palmas, as the Capital of Gran Canarias is a large city and therefore is quite spread out and the inevitable mix of residential, commercial, tourist attractions, hotels and all the rest. On the plus side, it is essentially flat. We were quite lucky in that are accommodation was on the edge of the pinch point of Las Palmas (look on a map of the island to see what I mean).

Las Palmas de Gran Canaria is a beautiful city. I loved exploring the city center and the urban beach of Las Canteras 🌊 – long, clean, and perfect for swimming. I also enjoyed visiting some museums, local restaurants, and meeting the friendly people. My sister fell in love with the city, which is why she bought an apartment here, and I had the pleasure of inheriting it. Overall, it’s a wonderful city to visit 😄. A note for travelers: some hosts on Booking may not always be completely reliable, so it’s worth being careful when booking accommodation.

An incredible place to visit with a huge selection of food, shopping, and recreation options. Perfect for families. There are playgrounds and the beach is calm enough for the little children to play but also places to surf if you wanted.

I had an unforgettable time at this hostel in Gran Canaria. Sylvi manages the place with so much care and talent — and she sings beautifully! Nagore was my dancing, High School Musical soul sister, and Gabriel my surf brother from Australia. Mikita was always there with his gentle heart and helpful spirit. The hostel is super clean, well-organized, steps from the beach, and full of real connection. I felt part of a creative, vibrant family. Highly recommended!

Continental breakfast was ideal. Receptionist was really helpful in all that was expected. Wish I could have stayed longer. If I have come to gran canaria again I would make this hotel my first port of call

A good central location for exploring the north of Gran Canaria, roof terrace was very sheltered and surprisingly quite considering it was located in the middle of the city.
