The location was wonderful adjacent to a working olive farm, which we were able to join in the harvest, super fun for us foreigners that are used to only enjoying olives and oil at the table. The troglodyte life was perfect for a couple days, and we could’ve stayed longer had we not needed to return for work.

Spacious, clean – well equipped. Kids had fun in the pool although it was quite cold. There were lots of fruit trees and an absolute delight to add fresh fruit to our breakfast in the morning. Even though we didn’t speak each other’s language Carmen and I managed to communicate happily.

The hotel and the bar staff are very obliging. I only know a few words and phrases in Spanish but but they did their best to communicate with me. The atmosphere was lovely, we had a nice evening chatting with some nice guests of the hotel.

This hotel is situated in the historical centre of Gaudix, near the Cathedral and surrounded by the monuments of this ancient, Andalusian town.

Beautiful hotel! What grandeur. This applies to both the halls downstairs and upstairs, as well as the rooms. The room was big and had beautifully crafted wooden doors, cupboards and desk and the vaulted ceiling had wooden beams. The lighting plan was better than most hotels. The hotel is situated next to the highway (not suited for everyone but perfect for me), but also a few 100 meters from the beautiful town of Gautix and 40 min. drive to Granada. The view on the hills is stunning
