A very beautiful and charming village.

A very beautiful and charming village. The streets and houses are lovely, as is the surrounding area. It's a very well-maintained village with a rich history. It's worth stopping to see it, and even spending a night there to enjoy its streets at night.

Medinaceli was a new place to me, but it's truly worth seeing. The information from the Tourist Office was excellent. We spent two weekdays there in July and were practically alone, which was fantastic. Weekends might be a different story, as many restaurants were closed.

The city pleasantly surprised me.

The city pleasantly surprised me. It has a rich Arab and Roman history. We visited the archaeology classroom, which was very educational. We didn't go inside the ducal palace, although we were told it was also a very worthwhile visit. The views from the Mirador de la Pepa viewpoint are beautiful.

A pretty little village to see and enjoy.

A pretty little village to see and enjoy. You can see it in a day, but over a weekend you can also visit the surrounding area, which is well worth it, especially Santa Maria de Huerta with its imposing Cistercian monastery.

Officially recognized as one of "The Most Beautiful Villages...

Officially recognized as one of "The Most Beautiful Villages in Spain" since 2013, this village is located in the province of Soria, along the main road between Barcelona and Madrid. Of pre-Roman origin, the Romans left their mark (arch, wall), and it is said that Almanzor went there to die after his defeat at Calatañazor. Perfect for a few days of relaxation, with numerous cultural and tourist attractions.

This hotel is so underrated. Should be a minimum 4 star. Hosts were excellent. We arrived late and all local restaurants were closed . At that late time the hosts offered to provide tapas, snacks etc to keep us going. Could not ask for better. Breakfast was unbelievable. Fabulous selection. Great safe parking. Stunning location in the beautiful hilltop village of Medinaceli. Views form our bedroom balcony were stunning. Cannot say enough about our stay here.

The hotel looks basic from the outside but some beautiful decoration inside, lovely staircase and oak bannister. High ceilings. Busy cafe attached, good food, great hustle and bustle vibe. Reception staff very helpful booking a cab up to the old town. Perfect stop for motorcycle visitors

It's the second time we have stayed here, and we appreciated the upgraded rooms. We love the village and the easy parking opposite the hotel. Thank you for leaving out breakfast because we had an early start. Modern facilities with old-fashioned charm.
