Wonderful views right across to the Sierra Nevada and a lovely cortijo with a refreshing pool. Manuel, the owner, couldn’t have been more helpful and even brought us some fresh eggs from his own chickens! We absolutely loved our stay - peace and quiet and recommend highly!

The apartment is extremely comfortable and very tastefully done , beautiful Spanish titles which I love . It is in a very convenient location once you work out the one way system . Easy walking distance to the Church and bars and restaurants . Montefrio is very hilly which could be a problem for some people .

Elias, Miguel and their Dad are delightful, caring hosts and I wish them all the best in their new venture. The house is charming and located wihin walking distance of all the major attractions. Built on three levels with a balcony on the top floor with the most amazing view of the entire area.

Montefrio is a quaint little mountain town with a great domed church and fantastic views. Most people just come for the day, but it is actually worth a stay. The Monteftur Apartments are right in the center and could not be more convenient. A few good restaurants in town.

The town is very pretty, but almost all the restaurants and cafes are closed; only one is open per day. The monuments, viewpoints, and hiking trails are poorly signposted, and the schedules for tourist services are not indicated.

The viewpoints, the castle, the Church of the Incarnation,...

The viewpoints, the castle, the Church of the Incarnation, the Convent of San Antonio, the tourist train route, Las Peñas de los Gitanos (Gypsy Rocks), and a few other interesting places. You can easily see everything in a weekend. It's advisable to make a reservation at the town's most reputable bars to avoid wandering around looking for somewhere to eat lunch or dinner.

Montefrío is a beautiful town.

Montefrío is a beautiful town. From almost any street, you can find a great panoramic view. However, part of its charm lies in its location, which means it's quite hilly. There are plenty of bars where you can eat or enjoy tapas. It's also worth noting that there's a tourist train that takes you to all the must-see places.

Small but charming. It doesn't have a lot to see, but it's worth a visit. The Church of the Incarnation with its large spherical dome and circular floor plan, the castle and the Church of the Villa with its interesting history, the Convent and Church of San Antonio, the various viewpoints that compel you to explore the town's streets, the Enrea area...

I got to Montefrio by bus from Granada. The town has many up and downs. But this room is located close to the cathedral, so it is easy access from bus stop, even if you have a large luggage. I can have a great view which includes two monument, a cathedral in fore sight and a church on the hill in the rear sight, from the spacious balcony. You should enjoy memorable time at dusk.

Perfectly located for the centre of Montefrio. Very comfortable room with plenty of space. Our room also had a lovely view of the main church. The pillows were super comfy :-)
