We had a fantastic stay! The house itself is stunning and there is love in every detail of decoration. So much that I'm taking a lot of inspiration for myself from this place. All the staff is warm-hearted, superfriendly and very considerate. For example, of which I could name many more: We said that we do not like sweet food in the morning too much and were surprised with a rich, salty breakfast the next day. (And as I've read some other comments: No, the breakfast is not overpriced - nor is anything else!) And then comes the food, which shouldn't be last-named but there is no way to rank food, staff and house as it is all excellent. So: The food was a treat we were looking forward to each day. Outstanding, haute cuisine-like, for a very fair price. We spent 18 days in Northern Spain and never before or after were we served such delicious food. All in all, I recommend Rectoral Anllo for 100÷.Thank you, Nacho and your team, for your great hospitality! We are hoping to come back!

We really enjoyed the area.

We really enjoyed the area. A peaceful and beautiful rural setting, ideal for a few days' rest. We were lucky enough to visit the Monastery of Santo Estevo, an architectural gem in the middle of the forest, which is well worth exploring at a leisurely pace. A great starting point for discovering the Ribeira Sacra. Highly recommended.

Spectacular surroundings (Sil River canyon). Narrow roads. Spectacular viewpoints, although some require a long walk to reach. The wineries are far away. The location is good for viewing the Sil canyon.

It's a small village in Ourense.

It's a small village in Ourense. You need a car for everything, but we knew that. The only downside is the state of the mountain, both the village itself and the surrounding area. It's a bit neglected, making it impossible to take walks along the paths and trails.

It's a place that combines natural paradises with...

It's a place that combines natural paradises with spectacular viewpoints, thermal waters, sunsets, and the history of Galicia with its monasteries and Romanesque churches. The catamaran trip on the Sil River is wonderful, and you can also learn about winemaking and visit the wineries. And of course, you can eat well and reasonably priced in its restaurants.

Absolutely wonderful.

Absolutely wonderful. I wish the accommodation we stayed in was my own home, and the owners are fantastic. In Luintra, there's El Campanario, a restaurant with great reviews. Near the pier, there's a lovely hotel and restaurant, Casa de as Ranas, with excellent service. In Parada da Sil, the supermarket is family-run and has everything you need. Travel at a leisurely pace and relax! 👍😉

The region is spectacular.

The region is spectacular. There's a limited selection of restaurants, but keep in mind that it's a region of pure nature. The roads are perfect for enjoying the scenery at a leisurely pace. You should plan your travel time carefully.
