Dinner in the main restaurant was excellent - really intersting and delicious local dishes and a well priced wine list. The buffet breakfast was also very good. What really stands out here is the location; waking up to birdsong and the distant sound or waterfalls and wandering before breakfast in the tranquil grounds. We can't recommend the historic garden park highly enough and the set lunch in the 'tourist' restaurant was also excellent value, Spa also very good

The host and the place. Just a BBQ or something to spend time outside eating. Very clean and cared place, wardrobes very well perfumed. So confortable, kitchen completely equipped and restored.

What a BEAUTIFUL home! Olga was a delightful hostess and gave us a tour of the property. There is much attention to detail in the decorating. The kitchen is more than fully equipped. The beds were very comfortable and the showers were outstanding. We were able to park at the corner so it was easy in and out. The location is perfect for exploring the canyon; it was a beautiful walk to the Santuario and experiencing the colors of the cliffs.

This property is very thoughtfully set-up to meet traveller's needs. Rooms are clean & the small table & chairs a bonus. Outside, we had access to a refrigerator and microwave plus the use of a larger and very well equipped kitchen. The lounge & outdoor area is very comfortable and attractive. There's a washing machine, clothes line & pegs for use as well. Mundobriga is a quiet & attractive village surrounded by grapevines.

We went to the Monasterio de Piedra, which is amazingly beautiful, at Easter and on a Saturday. So the place was overcrowded, and it felt as if you were in a theme park, not in a natural park. I would go back on a regular working day if I could.

I loved everything. I went with my son and my dog.

I loved everything. I went with my son and my dog. The service was excellent, and the scenery was perfect for walks. My stay was at the end of September, and we couldn't enjoy swimming. We'll go back in the summer and enjoy it to the fullest.

I didn't visit the towns of Nuévalos or Munébriga because...

I didn't visit the towns of Nuévalos or Munébriga because the opportunity didn't arise, but I would recommend doing so. And exploring the entire monastery grounds, as well as the natural park, is a must. It's an area that looks arid, but it's mountainous, and the surrounding Piedra River makes it very refreshing. The monastery itself is a very worthwhile visit.

Nuevalos is a small town, but with good services, it is very close to the Monastery of Piedra and has a wonderful natural surroundings, especially for those who like to go hiking.

It's a small village with very few amenities (two supermarkets), a gas station with a bar and terrace where you can get a drink, and only two or three restaurants. The surrounding area and the views of the reservoir were what we liked most.

It's a small village, but it has everything you need to...

It's a small village, but it has everything you need to relax and have a bite to eat after a visit to the Monasterio de Piedra. You can find excellent bread in its shops (almost all of them are located along the roadside). And within the village, there's a lovely children's playground with mountain views that's also worth a visit.

We are two cyclists on a long distance trip across Spain the Hotel location is fantastic - but it is at the top of a hill and looks across the valley and lake It was a Sunday night - we arrived at the end of lunch to a very warm welcome and had a great dinner that evening - this is a family rural outdoor and resort location - in early October it was a great find

We had a nice stay at this accommodation. It has a good quality-price ratio. Our room was simple in a classic style. It featured a balcony with a nice view of La Tranquera reservoir. It was quiet at night. There is a parking next to the hotel.
