A friendly town with plenty to see and do.

A friendly town with plenty to see and do. Restaurants are varied but a little pricey, do try the Pensionistas for their tapas lunches, coffee is very good as well. As it was October we managed to find a dog friendly beach which greatly pleased the four legged member of our family. Lots of photo opportunities around the castle area with quaint streets and gift shops.

Peniscola exceeded our expectations.

Peniscola exceeded our expectations. Exploring the tiny streets of the old city in the castle was a delight. Plenty of restaurants and some funky bars. The town was clean. A great, flat beach with powder sand and clear water.

The owner was very friendly and helpful. We phoned her on arrival and she gave us clear information about entering the apartment. Inside, everything was clean and comfortable. We had a view of the beach from the terrace. It was great that parking was included and we only had to walk a few minutes to the centre of Peñiscola. Highly recommended

The breakfast was good but as we were travelling it did not open until 8.00am. The tables were set out very nicely. The location of the hotel was good next to the hotel Peniscola palace we normally use. But it was closed until march.
