Awesome place with amazing host. Ramon helped us with everything. We were traveling by bike and got super wet in the rain. He washed our cloth and gave us amazing breakfast and dinner. If you travel with the bike, this is the place to stay in the mountains.

Wow! Our three night stay at the beautiful self catering property in rural Valor was wonderful. Spotlessly clean, the lovely self-catering house had everything we needed for a relaxing holiday. What's special here? - Stunning views of the miles and miles of the mesmerising Sierra Nevada. - A gorgeous swimming pool. A good size with a personal feel. - Fresh figs on the trees which Manuel allowed us to pluck and eat. - Quiet and secluded with a lovely outdoor dining/bbq area in addition to your own private balcony. - Secure parking and direct access to your property with your car to make life easier. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

The building has been beautifully restored and the apartments are very stylish, well-equipped and comfortable. Vincento and Gloria are delightful hosts, and we really enjoyed visiting their wine cellar to sample their wines and hear how they are made. We went to Laujar for the town's local fiesta and stayed at this accommodation. The location is centrally situated, and the key is collected from the host, who works at the bar located beneath the apartments. The apartment is very spacious and can (I believe) host up to 8 people, though we were only 3. It has a large living room and a fully equipped kitchen. The cleanliness is exemplary. We parked the car in a public parking lot (Oasis), which is fairly close to the accommodation. I recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing stay in Laujar.

This is a very special place. Don’t go there expecting a boutique hotel with all the fancy trimmings - Las Chimeneas isn’t like that. Go there for peace, wonderful fresh, local food, and owners who know and love the area. If you enjoy walking, Emma and David will give you directions to explore the paths of the Alpujarras, or even go along and show you the way, with tons of information to share as you go. If you enjoy doing nothing, the tiny pool is perfect for the occasional dip in between lounging with a good book. Our room was very simple, but had everything we needed. And did I mention the food? We won’t forget our stay, thanks to everyone at Las Chimeneas for a fantastic few days.

If you like places with real character, history, and beauty, this one’s a must. Casa de Doña Concha isn’t just somewhere to sleep, it’s a true experience in the heart of the Alpujarra. The house is absolutely gorgeous, full of charm, and keeps the soul of a classic Ugíjar casa señorial. Our room was spacious, beautifully decorated, super comfy beds, and a kitchen with everything you could need. The pool was perfect for cooling off and watching the sunset, and the patio terrace made the best spot for dinner and a couple of glasses of wine. Simply idyllic!

A hidden gem with fantastic views. It was so tranquil. The staff were very pleasant and the accommodation very comfortable and very clean. The breakfasts were great, a lovely selection. I can recommend the hot stone massage, it was amazing and the spa very relaxing.
