A very comfortable stay in a larger coastal village. They have practically everything accessible on foot: shop, beach, bus station, restaurants... Parking is on the street and you always get it. The furniture is like new, everything is very nicely furnished and there is a lot of space. Everything worked flawlessly, enough equipment in the kitchen, all the utensils for cooking, washing dishes. Soap, shampoo, shower gel in the bathroom... The apartment is on the first floor, accessible by stairs. There is enough space in the apartment for a family of 4. The owner is very friendly and caring. He lives a few blocks away.

A great place to chill out away from busy towns and tourist...

A great place to chill out away from busy towns and tourist areas. Taxi service can be ordered (no taxi rank in Pozo). If you have a hire car, plenty of parking. Two restaurants, both popular and mini-markets available for self-catering. Beach protected from surf and also sunbathing from the wind, great for swimming and relaxing. Popular windsurfing area to watch if not participating.

The beach was rocky, and the waves were quite strong.

The beach was rocky, and the waves were quite strong. It did get windy at times but it was still a really nice beach with endless views of the ocean. There is a windsurfing centre nearby so I’m guessing it gets windy often. The village is really nice, quiet and friendly. Two restaurants open until 12:am. Only downside is there is no public transport in or out so it’s a two mile walk to the nearest bus station if you are not driving.

It was lovely and peaceful and not many tourists - we ate at Restaurante Terraza El Viento, which has a nice location overlooking the water, the food and service were fine. The area is very worn and seems run down and if you “live” in the area you need a car. 2-3 km. From there there is a large shopping center.

Perfect for surfers and those like us looking for sun in the middle of winter. No sandy beach, but a nice public sunbathing area. Unfortunately, there's no public transportation, so you're stuck with a taxi to the nearest town (about 4km away). I recommend downloading the Pidetaxi app. A single ride costs around €5.

The Pozo Izquierdo area is a residential area.

The Pozo Izquierdo area is a residential area. There are hardly any restaurants or bars. There are one or two small grocery stores. It's not a tourist area. Its only attraction is surfing. There's a surf center on Pozo Izquierdo beach.

Quiet and small province, without excessive tourist traffic and noise. Friendly people. Suitable for a quiet and peaceful time. 2 shops and 3 restaurants in the area. Nice to walk. Larger centers in the vicinity.
