A beautiful, sympathetically restored place to stay in a quaint village. The owners were lovely and very helpful. Quiet, excellent home made wine (!!) Location is good to visit Los Medulas a short distance away. Safe parking for bikes.

The room was spacious and comfortable. The mattress, pillows and bedding were good quality and very luxurious. An amazing shower. The attic window was unique. The breakfast was adequate for what I needed. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Very close to the Knights Templar Castle ruins.

Great location, the bar downstairs serves delicious food and drinks, the garden area is very pretty with a couple of swings. The room was really lovely and the heater was a welcome addition.

Isabel is an amazing host, did everything to make us feel welcome and comfortable, which was especially valuable for us because we were travelling with our 1,5 year old baby. Breakfast was really good and plentiful. Dinner was delicious. We really enjoyed our stay. Thank you Isabel.

El Bierzo in general is beautiful, especially in autumn.

El Bierzo in general is beautiful, especially in autumn. Ponferrada is nearby, Peñalba is very pretty, and the Valley of Silence, although the access road is very winding, is well worth it. And of course, Las Médulas is a must-see!
