The house is very cozy and since it is in a remote location, it is perfect for stargazing late at night. The windows are mosquito-proof and the communication with the host was simple and reliable. Nothing to complain!

The kitchen was really well equipped and modern, lots of different outside seating areas and good dining space both indoors and out. Nice garden and views. The bed was absolutely huge and very comfy, good storage. Everything very clean. Some lovely welcome gifts. We were able to do several good walks and visit restaurants without having to drive at all.

Great small Hostel in small town/village. Bunk bed accommodation with secure lockers - took our road bikes into the dorm without any issue. There is a kitchen and good showers. Lovely high quality restaurant down the road for lunch/dinner also a welcoming bar and cafe in the village and a spar for provisions. Good value accommodation in a local village. Very clean and quiet at night even in the dorm!

Loved staying here. It was the best place we have stayed on La Palma. The view from the terrace was fabulous and we enjoyed eating our meals there. The use of the washing machine was great. The house is clean and well equipped.The host is lovely and commication easy. We ordered breakfast, and we were given lots of provisions, taking into account dietary preferences. Check-in was easy, and check out was flexible. We wished we could have stayed longer.

We spend one night but wished we could spend more days there. We liked the vineyards, the view, the calm around the house. Inside, we liked the decoration, the cleanliness, the fact that the house is 100% running on renewable energy. We could tell that the hosts care since there were so many small things that show attention to detail (sponge, cloth to dry the dishes, fresh bottle of wine in the fridge, shower gel, enough to start a fire, easy to find WiFi password, and many more). A very nice stay, can recommend!

Wow! Casa Inti (Sun in Peruvian tradition, as Ronnie, the husband of Helga, an architect who designed and built the house himself (and it shows!!) is from Peru though he spent most of his life in Germany) is no doubt the best villa we have ever stayed in. There is practically no amenity you can think of that the villa does not contain. Extremely comfortable, quiet, beautiful surroundings, the view of the mountain and the ocean, the garden, and a bench overlooking the horizon and zillion stars at night. We stayed 5 days only, had we known how beautiful and interesting La Palma is and the quality of this villa we would have stayed longer. Ronnie helped us with good advice and provided hiking book.

Friendly village with plenty of characters in local bars and restaurants. 3 good supermarkets, two health food shops and a weekend farmers market. Makes an excellent base for exploring the west coast and the interior.

Puntagorda is situated on a hill.

Puntagorda is situated on a hill. It is the perfect walking countryside and would suit people who preferer a quiet, non-tourist environment. the locals are friendly and the village is very community orientated.
